9th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)I would definitely recommend Thomas if you are looking for a brilliant estate agent. His knowledge, communication and feedback went above and beyond what I had ever expected. He answered any queries which I had very promptly .....he gave me excellent advice from our first point of contact. Thomas and Kellie offered ideas to 'tweek' certain aspects of my property to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....which obviously helped as he achieved a sale within four weeks!!! Well done to Thomas and his staff at Essex Guild Homes!!!

The whole team were invaluable helping us all the way, especially given the trouble and issues we had with getting things moving, the the Horizon Team worked tirelessly to support us every step of the way, and we have now completed our house move, and would certainly recommend anyone to use this Agent. Almost every member of staff was called upon over the long time we took, and Horizon chased and pushed at every opportunity. Thanks to them all, Calum, Kerry, Reece and everyone else in the amazing team.

A special mention to Paul, Lloyd and Jack in particular as we had the most dealings with these lovely agents. The whole team at this branch have worked above and beyond for us during this process and made it feel stress free. Thank you so much !

He responded promptly to all our queries and kept us updated at every stage. Oliver also communicated effectively with the sellers’ solicitors, which really helped the process move smoothly and gave us peace of mind. His professionalism and support were truly appreciated. We would definitely recommend Connells Estate Agents, especially Oliver, for anyone buying a property.

She guided us step-by-step, was always available for calls, and kept us updated every single day. We always knew exactly where we stood. She was incredibly reassuring, kept everything running smoothly, and really put us at ease. We couldn’t recommend Bairstow Eves enough, especially with Claire handling our sale.
10th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Robert Michael Estate Agents handled the recent sale of our house in Thundersley. They provided advice on realistic pricing and marketed the property well, securing interest and negotiating a very fair offer. When we encountered a problem with a severe water leak during the cold weather in January, our Agent, Dean Ellis, played a key role in getting the property repaired while retaining the buyer's interest. Dean really went the extra mile for us, arranging contractors, allowing contractor access to the property for us and monitoring/ emptying the dehumidifiers as it dried out. Thanks to Dean the sale was completed on 9th March.

22nd May 2021 (4 years ago)If I could of put 0 stars I would of Pointless for this place to be up and running NO ONE and I mean no one ever replies to your emails, they advertise properties yet do not reply when your requesting a viewing Rude ignorant people do not waste your time with them.
15th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)If I could give zero I would! I’d never rent via Ayers ever again and would never recommend to anyone! The branch in Southend on sea has some very rude staff with no people skills! We rented a flat that had been newly done up on the understanding that there was no issues with it… on the day we moved in there was noticeable water damage to a wall in the main bedroom which we immediately called the office they sent out a builder who told us there was water damage to the external wall and to draw round it with a pen! Over that year we reported more and more problems where we got sent a builder who kept saying we will talk to the landlord but nothing got done! The landlord took over £400 from our deposit because of this issue and over a month after we handed the keys back we’ve been hit with another bill that isn’t our fault and to make it worse it was an email not even a phone call! Overall your staff are rude and don't know how to communicate or even do their jobs correctly! As someone who has rented through a couple of different estate agents I am deeply disappointed, angered and disgusted with how we are being dealt with!

20th Nov 2025 (24 weeks ago)Moved out on 1st of November from a property managed by Lordsons. One month notice was given, as per my contract, and yet deposit is still to be returned by them, even if they had landlord’s confirmation to return in full. Not responding to calls or e-mails and now their website is no longer active. I suspect they never held my deposit in a protection scheme as I cannot find it on any of the main ones. Searching on the internet, it seems like they were banned by Southend Council in 2024. Stay way clear from this con agency!! I suspect a lot more people are or will be in the same position as I am!!
