In a challenging conveyancy progress, she took the lead and used her initiative to do things to get our sale over the line that other estate agents in the chain were not prepared to do. It was needed to get things over the line and she wasn’t going to sit back and watch it crumble. I was incredibly grateful.<br><br>It was very reassuring to know someone was fighting out corner when we were faced with a very real reality of our purchase falling through.<br><br>I write this, sat in my new garden, in what is now my new happy place, feeling thankful she was on our side.<br><br>Thank you!
28th Feb 2026 (18 weeks ago)A huge thank you to Matt, Pippa, Joy and Jack at Edge Goodrich for everything they have done to sell out house and support us through the entire process. From the initial consultation with Matt, to preparing for market, the production of the brochure and eventually securing the sale their approach has been nothing but highly professional. This was most evident once the sale had been agreed and everything slowed down due to issues in the chain and this is where it was important to have hard-working, diligent individuals pushing on our behalf. We are so happy everything has now been completed but cannot thank everyone at Edge enough.

26th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)We have purchased two properties through this estate agent (with one purchase still ongoing) and unfortunately the experience has been disappointing!<br>Communication within the office staff has been very poor, and it often felt like staff were not communicating with each other. When our solicitors experienced delays, we were repeatedly threatened that the properties ( both of them) would be put back on the market, despite this never actually happening! This created unnecessary stress during an already demanding process.<br><br>In addition, both surveying companies we used commented on the difficulties they had communicating with this estate agent, which suggests our experience was not an isolated one.<br><br>While we appreciate that an estate agent acts on behalf of the seller, we felt there was very little effort to facilitate the process for the buyer or keep everyone informed. Overall, the lack of communication and the way issues were handled made what should have been an exciting experience far more frustrating than it needed to be.

Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, with regular updates and quick responses to any questions we had. Their valuation was accurate, and their knowledge of the local market gave us great confidence from the outset. The team were professional, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help. We felt supported throughout what can often be a stressful process, and everything was handled efficiently from start to finish. Excellent value for money and a genuinely first-class service. We would highly recommend Bob Gutteridge Estate Agents to anyone looking to buy or sell a property

There were quite a few complications along the way, but Maddie handled everything professionally, kept us updated, and was always there to help and reassure us. 5th Feb 2026 (21 weeks ago)I met with 3 estates agents, 2 were larger companies, but I was instantly more comfortable with Mark, he took the time to explain things and I felt like I could ask stupid questions. The photographer who was used was also really good, we bagged up items to move and he moved them around as needed and made it all really easy. Everyone who contacted me to arrange viewings has been really friendly, professional and approachable, and Trish who dealt with the offers was excellent.

Thank you for taking the time to reply but looking at your previous responses to other disgruntled customers, you appear to be not the best at taking criticism nor accepting poor performance on your part. 4th Mar 2026 (18 weeks ago)I had mixed personal reviews prior to my contacting Dourish and Day but I will NOT using them to sell my property as I'm appalled at the "it's not my job" attitude. I will be contacting the estate agency that sold my parents bungalow as they were proactive and cheaper fees! They refused to let myself, or my property agency, know the date/times of Dourish and Day availability for a valuation so an appointment could be arranged with my tenant. They also refused to make ONE phone call and contact the tenant directly as Dourish and Day had misunderstood what my tenant had said upon initial contact. My agent informed me that they have tried making contact but are awaiting a response from Dourish and Day which Dourish and Day have denied. When I requested an update this is the response "We will not move forward until they call us with the tenants availability for us to attend as it is their responsibility to clear things with them."

From the valuation up to finding a buyer the whole team were professional, informative and very friendly. Within a week they managed to arrange few viewings and including one potential buyer.
