17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Arvin, Evie, Callum and Brian were always available if we had any questions. The end result was a swift and seamless sale. A big thank you for an excellent service.
24th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)Similar to another review reference letting a property, they were only interested in getting their money. They allowed our tenants to leave early and refused to cover any shortfall due to their “miscommunication”. Tried to bring my family members private affairs into the situation as a way of blackmail. I am currently perusing lost earnings and blackmail complaints through the property ombudsman. Shocking.
1st Jul 2026 (5 days ago)Adam was fantastic throughout our property search. He managed to arrange a viewing for us at very short notice, even though all Saturday appointments were already booked. He was always quick to respond to our questions and proactive in getting information from both the agency and the seller.<br>Although we didn’t end up buying through the agency, they were by far the best agency we dealt with during our search. Everyone we spoke to and met at viewings was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. We’d highly recommend Adam and the team.

3rd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)Received a first class service from Connells at Tunbridge Wells. Ollie was very friendly, honest and professional and his experience in the housing market second to none. From valuation to marketing to viewings and then completing the service we received was exceptional. All staff were polite friendly and always put themselves out to help answer questions and concerns. Because of Ollie’s excellent knowledge and experience our property was auctioned and twe ended up getting £45K over the starting price, he really knows his stuff and how to get people interested in your property. Top service and a big thank you to the whole team but special thanks to Ollie- 26th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)Contract - BE AWARE<br>I cant fault the service that I had with freeman foreman in Heathfield and Lucy was particularly good.<br><br>I would just like all people thinking of using the company to be aware of a part of their contract. It was made clear to me by the original estate agent I dealt with that the fee would be 1% of the sold price. It turns out that there is a clever little box that gets filled in by the estate agent stating that the fee will be a minimum of £££. This figure is likely to be the valuation fee NOT the sold fee.<br><br>I would just ask anyone thinking of using ANY estate agent to be mindful of this prior to signing. Afterall the majority of us dont regularly sell properties, right?<br><br>Whilst I am sure this completely legitimate, it was never made clear to me that when the manger suggested that the original price was vastly over inflated and that I should reduce the price by 35 thousand, I would still be paying 1% commission on that 35 thousand.<br><br>I do feel this is an underhanded way of obtaining money. I am sure this is not the only estate agent to practice this, so it is just a word of caution to all about to employ an estate agent.

14th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)They over valued the house by £50k therefore they took longer to sell it. Once it was reduced to a better price it sold. I didn't think the write up explained that the house needed modernisation I had to ask for it to be changed. However when I threatened to take the house off the market and modernise it myself a new sales assistant took over the sale she was more proactive and found a buyer.

3rd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)After five years with a tenant, the Tunbridge Wells Savills lettings team (Danielle and Chloe with great support) have done a fantastic job at finding me a great new tenant (three great offers). The process was really quick and efficient, everyone was thoroughly professional, and guided me through the new regulations. A really fast turnaround too, and allowing a between tenancy decoration refresh and general maintenance, and this all organised via property manager Tamsin, tenant now happily moved in. Can't recommend this team high enough. Fantastic integrated team working.- 18th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)Both Tania and Dan have been excellent finding a quick buyer and managing the chain and subsequent communication, following our previous purchaser pulling out at the last minute.<br><br>Given the sale was not straightforward - due in part to market and local factors and the total lapsed time to exchange, it would not have been a surprise if the branch got tired and heads dropped. That was not the case! The energy, focus and passion remained throughout process. And even when we experienced a few bumps in the road, they remained calm, professional and took ownership to resolve. Never avoiding our calls. Always taking accountability. They are an experienced lot. They know what they are doing.

The sale was not an easy one, numerous challenges and hair pulling moments but Hannah & Oliver were tremendous, didn't miss a beat and at every twist & turn were there, proactive, helpful and communicated very openly and honestly. We would highly recommend Savills to everyone - we just hope our next purchase is with Savills.

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

Thomas knew exactly what we wanted/needed in a home. Francis gave us updates weekly, daily towards exchange and completion. Also a big Thank You to Adele too. We are in our forever home and it's all Thanks to Thomas and his team.

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.
