10th Nov 2025 (5 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!
15th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)Absolutely amazing estate agent, nothing was to much trouble, the process from ringing to view the house to pick up keys day, so calm and not stressful one bit. Quickly replied to emails. One person “David” dealing with use what made it so much easier thank you for all your help and the extra viewings we wanted . If you thinking of selling your house look at this estate agent before some of the others. No game playing , playing people off with one another just pure help and support through it all. Thank you David so so much - we can’t wait for the renovations be completed so we can finally move in.

This was always really helpful in understanding why things might not have worked out. Followed up and generated leads actively. Friendly and personal service.
9th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)We found the staff friendly and easy to get along with. They had veiwings arranged in the first week,and we where sold after the third veiwing. The agent did our veiwings for us and he was very efficient, making sure everything was left in order. We would not hesitate to recommend David Davies.

She was professional, supportive, and kept us informed every step of the way. Her communication was excellent, and she managed any issues calmly and efficiently. We always felt she had our best interests at heart and worked hard to achieve the best outcome. We’re very grateful for her help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone selling a property.

7th Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)We had a great experience with Barrow & Coon Solicitors recently when buying our first house. We had Marie as our Solicitor & Sue as her Secretary, both absolutely amazing. They were always on hand to deal with any big or small query that I had & kept me in the loop with every little detail. I would 100% recommend them to anyone & I will absolutely be using them again in the future if we buy another property. Thank you both so much for making such a stressful experience so enjoyable.

Loads of local knowledge, professional advice and felt friendly and honest. From first viewing I felt like I was in good hands, right up until completion when they accommodated a last minute viewing before exchange and went over and above to sort keys. Don’t usually get this level of service as a purchaser. Thanks again!

28th Jan 2026 (14 weeks ago)Very unprofessional experience from start to finish. I initially trusted 222 Estates because they have many properties and they always answered the phone promptly. Unfortunately, that was where the professionalism ended. Most of the questions I asked could not be answered clearly, and when they did provide answers, they repeatedly failed to follow up with the emails I specifically requested. Important information was promised but never sent unless we chased them multiple times. Communication was disorganised and frustrating, and we were constantly left waiting for details that should have been provided proactively. Overall, the lack of follow-up and poor communication made the entire experience stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend 222 Estates if you value clear, reliable, and professional communication.

She was so welcoming and answered all my questions on this lovely house. I have now been offered this property which I am so ever greatful for its come when I really needed it for myself and my children. Jade has dealt with it quickly and kept me update to date. After our viewing, she took the time to highlight all the property’s key features and even put together a detailed overview of the local area, including commuting options and things to do nearby. She kept us well informed throughout the entire process and was always available for a call when we needed her. Her calm, reassuring approach made a real difference, and her support went above and beyond our expectations.
