7th Apr 2026 (4 weeks ago)I enquired about a property I could comfortably afford, but the way I was spoken to by one staff member was completely unacceptable. While I understand there are legal procedures to follow, there is no excuse for being rude, raising your voice, or speaking to someone as if they are lying about their finances. A second staff member later called and explained the same procedures in a calm and respectful manner, which just highlights how unprofessional the first interaction was. Based on this experience alone, I would not feel comfortable having this estate agent manage a property I live in.

They supported us through the moving out process and made moving into our new home much easier and stress free. They also helped us to find our new house which we’re really grateful for. A special thank you to Ella for all her help and support throughout . She has been great from start to finish. Highly recommend!

A special thank you to Jane, Maureen, and Pete, who all went above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free. Jane was incredibly organised and always quick to respond to any questions, Maureen was warm and reassuring throughout, and Pete was especially helpful in making sure everything was in great shape before I moved in. Overall, I’d highly recommend this agency to anyone looking to rent — a friendly, efficient, and trustworthy team.
28th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)Since I moved here 3 years ago i have had direct contact with Mandy boot, she has always been easy to talk to and has never made me feel uncomfortable to message her directly, any issues I report i have never doubted the work won’t be carried out and has never disappointed me and left me constantly chasing her, Mandy has always kept me updated on issues I have reported and had them dealt with quickly and efficiently, I have huge respect for mandy who takes her job seriously and goes above and beyond, mandy is a great asset to your team and the service, she is amazing and very reliable and ensures all jobs that has completed that I am happy and satisfied before closing my repair request.
13th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Not a very good team of estate agents at all (though their incompetence meant I ended up getting my dream house with a different agency instead). They call you immediately after viewing a house to put in an offer, then play games with you (or encourage the seller to do so) and make you add on crazy amounts of money to the offer whilst playing you off against another buyer. They pretended to not answer our calls once we called to put in counter offers, and then blamed us for “not calling” (literally called multiple times on one day) and kept pushing us to add more money! It was an awful experience with them, causing us undue amount of stress, and I am glad I no longer bothered looking at their properties. In my dream house now so I guess it was good that they were so bad! 0/10 stars.

10th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Sold my house through Bridgefords. Bethany was very good at dealing with our very difficult sale. Lewis was always very helpful whenever I spoke to him. Other staff members I found very frustrating. Would ask them for information and then never hear from them. The estate agent I bought by my house through was always contacting me for updates because they said Bridgefords didn’t reply to her emails. I raised this with the manager and never got a response.

28th Jan 2026 (14 weeks ago)Very unprofessional experience from start to finish. I initially trusted 222 Estates because they have many properties and they always answered the phone promptly. Unfortunately, that was where the professionalism ended. Most of the questions I asked could not be answered clearly, and when they did provide answers, they repeatedly failed to follow up with the emails I specifically requested. Important information was promised but never sent unless we chased them multiple times. Communication was disorganised and frustrating, and we were constantly left waiting for details that should have been provided proactively. Overall, the lack of follow-up and poor communication made the entire experience stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend 222 Estates if you value clear, reliable, and professional communication.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The level of customer service was excellent — any issues I had were dealt with promptly, and communication was always clear, especially around inspections. The team were consistently helpful, friendly, and quick to resolve anything that came up. Overall, a very professional and reliable service. I’d definitely recommend using this letting agency to anyone looking to rent a property.

Whilst we was dealing with the pain of bereavement and deciding to sell our parents house, dealing with Darren was friendly, very knowledgable and professional advising us through all the stages of selling the property and made the process as easy as possible. He was available and a constant throughout and went above and beyond to keep us updated right through to completion when we was not getting much updates from the Solicitor.

After our viewing, she took the time to highlight all the property’s key features and even put together a detailed overview of the local area, including commuting options and things to do nearby. She kept us well informed throughout the entire process and was always available for a call when we needed her. Her calm, reassuring approach made a real difference, and her support went above and beyond our expectations.
