13th Jun 2026 (22 days ago)Very disappointing experience. I booked a viewing with this estate agent and nobody turned up at the agreed time. After taking time out of my day to attend, I received no prior notice, apology, or explanation. When I contacted the office, rather than dealing with the issue professionally, staff appeared to respond with sarcasm, which only added to my frustration. The communication was poor, the service was unprofessional, and there seemed to be little regard for my time or the inconvenience caused. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not a level of customer service I would expect from an estate agent.

Catherine, Mary and Samantha have all been fantastic throughout—professional, friendly, and always quick to respond. A special thank?you to Mary, who went above and beyond in helping to present and deliver our offer to the vendors. Her communication and support made a real difference. Highly recommended.

She went above and beyond was so quick to answer questions and sorted things out so fast ! Daniell was also brilliant!! Honestly can’t thank them enough And will recommend them to anyone I will 100% be using them again . Thank you so much guys

3rd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)AVOID AVOID AVOID<br><br>We had our flat on the market with Haart Abbots Langley for 9 months and only had 5 viewings. Constant excuses and lies from the team, no follow ups and meant we were having to chase them throughout (despite being assured that we would get an update every week). Half of our viewings we only found out about when we called to get an update on how things were.<br><br>Shorab, Tom and Jamie were very dismissive throughout and didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on.<br><br>2 flats in the same block as ours sold within 3 weeks of going on the market using different agents for a higher price than what we had ours on for -Haart had driven down the price as they had kept stating it needed to be lower (which ultimately cost us money in the long term). It became very apparent that the issue was Haart and not the flat.<br><br>Switched over to Foxtons Watford and had 3 viewings and had sold within a week. The two estate agents were like night and day.<br><br>Haart were extremely unprofessional and caused nothing but stress whilst we were with them and their only tactic for selling seemed to be lowering the price -which in our case didn’t need to have happened and lost us money. Please look elsewhere when selling -highly recommend Foxtons!

Very knowledgeable and knows the property she is showing inside out! Chanel is also very patient with the numerous calls she has had to deal with from us.

From the very first meeting through to completion, the entire team provided an outstanding level of service, professionalism, and support.<br><br>What impressed us most was that this was truly a team effort. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and fully up to date with our sale. At every stage we felt that everyone was working together towards the same goal: achieving the best possible outcome while making what can often be a stressful process feel calm, manageable, and well organised.<br><br>Oakleys’ understanding of the local Berkhamsted market was exceptional. Their advice on pricing, presentation, marketing, and strategy was thoughtful, realistic, and clearly based on many years of experience. The quality of the marketing materials was first class, viewings were handled professionally, and feedback was always prompt and informative.<br><br>Once the sale was agreed, the team’s commitment was equally apparent. 26th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We are extremely happy with the service Coopers Ickenham office (and in particular Russell Jones) provided in our recent house sale. Russell was very knowledgeable about the local area and house prices therein and took the time to have a detailed discussion with us about how best to market our house. Throughout the process he regularly checked in with us (and the buyer) to ensure that things were running as smoothly as possible - not easy to do with a chain! We would thoroughly recommend Coopers Ickenham Office and Russell to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

6th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Selling my late fathers apartment was far from a straightforward process. Although following excellent marketing I received a very quick offer, the sale ultimately took seven months due to the complexities of a probate and leasehold transaction. Throughout what was often an emotional, stressful and frustrating experience, the professionalism, communication, care and support shown by Scott and his team was absolutely exemplary. I was kept regularly updated at every stage, and when communication from solicitors was lacking, the team proactively chased matters and dealt directly with them on my behalf to keep the process moving. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they genuinely went above and beyond from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for their patience, dedication and truly outstanding service during a very difficult time. I would recommend Benjamin Stevens without hesitation to anyone looking for an estate agent who is transparent and truly cares about their clients

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!- 26th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)The Northwood branch have been great during the process of looking for a new rental. In particular, Aimee at the branch was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. My experience with a staff member at the Pinner branch was awful, very rude and impolite whereas Aimee made the process easy and was very polite, answering any queries we had. Thank you

In the starting they took care of everything but when they rented out the property they don't even bother about the problem which tenants are facing in the property. Not going to recommend at all. They also deduct our deposit without giving us a single proof. And they refund our rest of the deposit after 2 months and long arguments. The service for entire year was awful.

Hannah especially was a steady presence and always available with advice. It was good to have a dedicated member of the staff dealing with the process from offer accepted to finish.

Mine was a complex situation with the move but I had so much support from Matthew.<br>He worked so hard to ensure the sale of my house and purchase of my flat went as smoothly as possible.<br>He was really easy to reach and I was kept up to date throughout.<br>I would strongly recommend them, especially as my house sold straight away, and for the asking price!<br>I honestly can’t thank them enough.
