12th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)Putterills Knebworth have been fantastic throughout the sale of our home.<br><br>Selling a property is not cheap, so choosing the right estate agent is important. From our very first meeting with Adam, we were impressed by the professionalism, strategic thinking, and market knowledge on display. The team clearly understands the local area and knows how to value properties accurately.<br><br>Other agents may offer a higher valuation or a slightly lower fee, but that's meaningless if they can't actually sell your house. In what has been an uncertain market, the initiative shown by Putterills to maximise our property's visibility was both clever and effective. Their negotiation throughout the process was fair, professional, and ultimately helped secure a successful sale.<br><br>Once the sale was agreed, the sales progression support (Vanessa) was excellent. Having a dedicated person managing communication and helping to negotiate a completion date made a huge difference and kept everything moving forward smoothly.<br><br>The service is sharp, proactive, and highly professional. The entire team genuinely cares about their customers and couldn't do enough to help—something that feels increasingly rare these days.<br><br>Thank you to everyone at Putterills Knebworth. You did a fantastic job, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you.
20th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.
19th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)talk the talk to get you in, but if you're a low value property they don't put much effort in. i got 0 feedback from the viewings i had. one time an agent didn't turn up and the viewer went home and didn't re book. poor communication in responding to emails. i felt like my property was low on their list of priorities. no chase up when the contract was coming to an end to see if i wanted to extend. when i said i was listing with another agent they didn't ask for feedback or try to keep my business.

From start to finish, the team has been consistently punctual, professional, and incredibly supportive, making what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and well?managed. A special thank you goes to Mark, whose service has been outstanding throughout. His patience, attentiveness, and genuine willingness to help made a real difference. Mark’s deep knowledge of both the properties and the local area was invaluable, and he always took the time to answer questions thoroughly and honestly. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to ensuring you feel informed and confident at every step. Overall, Geoffrey Matthew has been fantastic to work with, and I’m truly grateful for the level of care and professionalism they’ve shown. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Have to say that the guy did not come across as being very helpful and unlikely to use their services in going forwards and will take my business elsewhere.

From keeping me up to date with what is going on with the sale, solicitors to answering any and all questions I have had. Cannot recommend them enough, if I had to do this all again I would 100% pick Haart!

Sam extremely helpful and so quick to respond and the helpful team, big thanks to Jake who patiently viewed properties with us and the other friendly staff members, all deserve credit too.<br>If you have a property with them for sale then in my experience they are working very hard on your behalf.

13th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)I felt we had a very rocky start with the main contractions dealing with leaving. I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average

He also put us onto an excellent solicitor who always kept us unto date with progress. Overall marketing of our property was good with Ariel views and good internal photos.

On arrival she was friendly and professional, and explained exactly what she was going to do before getting started which put me at ease straight away. She clearly cares about doing a good job and made the whole process feel easy. It was lovely to speak with her too and share knowledge, we had a lovely conversation and was very kind!<br>We were also very happy with the welcome we received when we moved in. Honestly a world of difference compared to our previous estate agents in terms of professionalism, competence and kindness. We would definitely recommend Cheriee and Lovett Sales and Lettings!

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.

10th Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)I called Jamie at One Call Property Solutions Ltd to fit blinds which i ordered from Blinds Direct. It came with top fit fixture to fit within the recess. This meant the screw had to go through the lintel which was a difficult job. Jamie made it look easy and fitted the blinds on the same day. This is my second time calling them with bits and bob around the house. They do amazing job and leave the place clean as well. Looking forward to using the again in the future.

The service I have received has been outstanding and I am impressed with the “due diligence” they have undertaken. Giving the changing legislation affecting landlords, I feel confident that IW Estates will ensure compliance with the law. I also expect that my tenants will have confidence that issues arising with the property they are renting will be dealt with in a timely manner. My point of contact is Ellie Smith and she has been outstanding in terms of advising me, creating new tenancy agreements and meeting my tenants. I know that she is supported by others in IW Estates and my thanks go to them as well as to Ellie. In summary, in my view, a highly professional Company who do everything “by the book” and deserve to do well in the highly competitive lettings business.
