13th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)2023 was a difficult year in the housing market. Wye were relentless trying to tempt a buyer for our property. Yes we did have to drop our price a little, but that was the only way to sell! There were very few properties to look at, but Wye took on board our wish list, found the house (before it was even on the market) and even found a property for the vendor to complete the chain! We ended up in a very large chain, but Wye navigated us through with barely a hitch. Thank you very much Nicole, Ian and Sarah - Highly recommended!!

15th Feb 2026 (12 weeks ago)Steve and the team at Michael Graham offered a really first class service. We originally bought our house through them so it made perfect sense to sell It with them too. In a difficult market they sold the house quickly, and when the sale fell through they found another buyer within days. Steve handled a tricky negotiation with skill and offered the right advice at the right time. The sale has now completed and we are delighted to recommend Michael Graham as a first class estate agent.

19th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)What are the estate agent playing at, they are now selling a 4 bed house in Elder way Ampthill for £40000 over valuation price, this is a shared ownership property only recently valued at £510,000 Are they that desperate.. And a building society or bank will have a say on this, beware as you could lose thousands of pounds

Sue the sales agent was absolutely amazing and found be my dream home. Sadly Sue left the company before my completion, however Max took over and he was superb, always available, responded immediately to any queries I raised, and was very courteous and polite, and for that reason I am happy to give Wilkinson 5 stars

Selling a property can be stressful, but Peter made the entire process smooth, straightforward, and even enjoyable. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble — he consistently went above and beyond at every stage. Whether it was keeping me updated, answering questions quickly, or handling unexpected challenges with total confidence, he exceeded every expectation I had. What really stood out was his dedication and work ethic. He didn’t just do his job — he truly cared about getting the best possible outcome for me. He was endlessly polite, unbelievably patient, and answered every single one of our questions with kindness and clarity. Truly, what a gentleman! Buying a property is usually stressful, but Richard made the entire experience feel so much easier and far less daunting. His support and professionalism were outstanding from start to finish. When we next decide to move, Lowthers will be the only agents we even consider. I will be recommending them to absolutely everyone I know!
13th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)Sonia Estates could not wait longer than two weeks after my husband’s passing to start their plot to scam me. Informed me that minor repairs needed to rent after the contract expired. No deposit money given to me as they retained it! They ran up 8000 pounds( 12,000 pounds is what they demanded initially) worth of non existent repairs without my permission. When I disputed it, they secretly rented out my home and had no intention of informing me about it, nor of paying me rent!! They also had the secret idea of letting the home out to Capital Living who would charge us a commission, and Sonia would very kindly keep collecting another 7 percent commission too! This was only revealed to me after months of questioning Sonia Estates. They then threw away all of my furniture and asked me for an additional 15,000 pounds to furnish it again! So, they tried to make almost 27,000 pounds from the death of my husband! Sonia Estaes lied to the Ombudsman who accepted their lies that all of the above arrangements were agreed upon by me over a phony phone call! Even though I won the case, they were asked to pay me only 150 pounds! They now keep getting my Google review deleted!

The way they guided us as sellers clearly demonstrated their experience and professionalism in the market. Lance was always available to take my calls and address any queries that arose during the process, which made everything much smoother for us. We are very grateful for their support in successfully completing the sale and would confidently recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional estate agent.

30th Dec 2025 (19 weeks ago)As a landlord or tenant, I would highly recommend Property Foundations Group (PFG for short). I have dealt with Kristen, Adam and Paul, all good people with their morals in the right places, something that is rare in the world of property investment. I found PFG to be very professional and thorough in the way they do things, keeping the interests of tenants and landlords great at all times, and they are always on top of the safety compliance requirements that do often change. They seem to know how to keep their cool and coherence, which is a big plus in such a chaotic industry as property letting. My rental was a flat, but I also observed that their Room Lets have good systems in place for communal areas being cleaned by cleaning contractors, something I noticed when I was meeting a friend at one of their other properties. More importantly this means that tenants who rent rooms from PFG don’t have to argue who is going to wash up, clean, vacuum, and so on, and landlords that want to let out their properties as rooms don’t have to get involved in as much headache like this. They also have a good maintenance booking system for anything that goes wrong. Fortunately in my case I didn’t have to use it, but I did a test run (which I later cancelled) just to see how well it worked. I always worry that something could go wrong and the landlord is on holiday (or something like that), but when renting through PFG, there really is no need to be concerned about this, as they have access to contractors around the clock. Safety is utmost priority. PFG were really on top of my safety: During my mid-tenancy, the Annual Gas Safety Check was due. I wasn’t really keeping a very good track of my diary at the time, so when it came to this VITAL day, I was unintentionally unavailable. Paul went above and beyond his call and duty to make sure the inspection was carried out on time, by going out of his way to reach me successfully (without any intrusion). Now this might, to some readers, seem a bit trivial, but actually it really isn’t, because Gas Safety Checks are often carried out EXACTLY 1 year after a boiler installations/upgrades/repairs, and there are parts in boilers that only last 366-400 days so that they stop working just after the warrantee period expires. In otherwords, had it not been for the systems PFG put in place, the inspection could have lapsed over that 366 day boundary, putting me in a potential spot of danger. It’s important for readers to diarise their safety inspection dates to avoid the same sort of thing happening. The half-yearly inspection was also all-fine, safety wise, as well. Jenny asked me whether I was happy for her to take photos of the smoke alarms (that are in every room) to show to their Maintenance Team just to make sure there weren’t any issues, and it was all fine. All in all, very good.
