2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)We used Williams & Donovan for the sale and purchase of our new home from June 2025 to when we completed in February 2026. The whole team were great from start to finish, the valuation and photos for the sale of our property with Lloyd, to our viewings organised and managed by Anita, Darren and Denise and a special mention to Stephanie who was a great help with our sale progression. She kept us up to date where needed and gave us regular reassurance due to unforseen circumstances in the chain. Stephanie was very responsive, always polite and helpful and in regular contact with us throughout, a great support! Thank you to you all, we would recommend Williams & Donovan.

We had a very bumpy ride with my purchase of a property, but with fantastic communication, professional expediency, coupled with a faith that it would eventually happen, we got there. I cannot thank them enough for their patience. I wouldn't hesitate in using this agency for any further selling/ purchasing, or letting needs.

Laura was so easy to chat to, she followed up our enquiry quickly and was really helpful in every way that she could be. Although we didn't buy the property that she showed us. Laura was instrumental in helping us decide on the location that we wanted to continue our search and was one of the few agents that we spoke to that always responded to any query.

From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. Seden was brilliant during the viewing very friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease. Ismaaiil handled all the paperwork and administration seamlessly, explaining everything clearly and making the process stress-free and straightforward. Both of them went above and beyond to help, and their communication was excellent throughout. Truly amazing service from start to finish. Highly recommended!

The process had its challenges and took longer than expected, but the team were supportive throughout. A special thanks to Michael, whose excellent negotiation skills and genuine commitment made a real difference. Highly appreciated. We live miles away and remote sale worked well for us. The process was a success with good communication. Will definitely recommend them.

26th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)Just finished up with renting a property for 18 months through Elliott James. The service prior to agreeing the property was great - we dealt with Annabel who is very approachable and friendly. It did go downhill pretty quickly after we moved in however, and we had various issues, including slow responses from the team, several issues with furnished appliances (we paid extra for) and fobs not working, and holes in walls that took a while to be filled and repainted. We received an outrageously high rental hike after the end of our 12 month contract. We really felt we were taken advantage of here and were being extorted due to a position where we couldn’t move elsewhere. We also received anecdotal feedback from neighbours that we were being charged much more than they would have expected based on their own agreements. The worst part of the experience however was how we were treated when we handed in our notice. It felt the staff no longer felt any need for any customer service at this point and were unhelpful with any query raised. Then there were some pretty ridiculous deductions demanded from the deposit once we had left. This was without evidence, and quite clearly an attempt to make as much money as possible for the Agency and the Landlord at the tenants expense. The property was left spotless after a deep, thorough clean for which we have photo and video evidence, and yet we were charged almost £300 for further cleaning on top. We strongly believe that no matter how immaculate we had left the property, this charge would have been applied as a way of scamming money from us. In addition they claimed almost £300 for damage and almost £300 for redecoration. Again, wholly excessive for trivial issues and basically a way of taking funds from tenants hoping they wouldn’t argue about them. The ‘damage’ was normal wear and tear, and so we have disputed this with a deposit scheme. Overall, I would absolutely not recommend EJPR, and would certainly not use them again. On several occasions we have felt bullied as a result of EPJR taking financial advantage of situations, and would hate to see others in the same situation, hence taking the time to review. Update: We have had the final adjudication on our deposit dispute, and unsurprisingly the adjudicator has cancelled 80% of Elliott James deduction request. Further evidence that EJPR tried to take advantage of us in this situation and were proven to be wholly excessive in their deductions. A real shame we had to be put in this position by them, but atleast there is justice at the end of it (no thanks to EJPR).
