They collated the offers and controlled the negotiations effectively gaining a price we were very happy to accept. Imran and his team were responsive and attentive and professional. I have no reservations in recommending Payne & Co if you want to sell your property.

Their expert advice, particularly when the initial sale chain fell through, enabled us to quickly find another buyer and complete the process without any further issues. Everyone at the office was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable, and they always replied promptly to our queries and phone calls. I would highly recommend Walkers and would not hesitate to use their services again.

Calum, Kerry and Reece in particular were so helpful, from the moment the house went on the market they constantly kept us updated during the process of the sale, and went above and beyond to support us! We would highly recommend the team at Horizon!

29th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)I didn’t sell my property through Park Lane Properties, but I did purchase my home through them and felt I had to leave a positive review — especially for Amie. Unfortunately, the estate agents who sold our home were terrible and dishonest, and dealing with them really highlighted how exceptional Amie was. We could only wish we had an agent like her on our side. Amie was honest, professional, and communicated brilliantly throughout the process. Any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. She did an excellent job representing her client, making sure we were financially ready to proceed and that everything was in place, which made the whole purchase far smoother than it could have been. I truly hope her client also leaves a positive review, as Amie was fantastic. She sets the bar incredibly high within the industry, and other estate agents, especially ours should really take a leaf out of her book. If you live in the area and thinking of selling, call Park Lane! Thank you Park Lane & Amie.

14th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)WARNING to all rental tenants. Beware! This company do not vet their landlords or care for tenants welfare, I’d strongly advise you steer clear. They lumbered me with a psychotic landlord, and Instead of dealing with their own dispute with her, left me to deal with an ugly situation they caused in the first place. The episode caused me untold distress and cost me a fortune. I had to move out just to get away from an unhinged landlord, and Portico didn't step in to help me with any of it. I spoke to the so-called 'manager' about it and all he cared about was grabbing a tidy profit from the situation. Even the staff said the landlord was 'trouble' but i'm the one that took the hit. Bad people, bad company, don't grace them with your custom, save yourself and go elsewhere.
9th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)We had the pleasure of working with Steve from Fenn Wright from the early part of last year right through to the end of October 2025, when we finally completed on our purchase. To say our house sale was challenging would be an understatement! At times it honestly felt like moving into the property Fenn Wright were representing might never happen. We ended up having to sell our house three separate times, which definitely made the journey a stressful one. Throughout the entire process, Steve was absolutely unbelievable. His guidance, patience, and constant reassurance made a huge difference. My wife and I even started to dread the weekly Friday 2pm catch-up calls at one point, but somehow Steve always managed to make things feel calmer and a little less stressful each week. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared he even called us on his day off just to congratulate us when everything finally went through. We actually laugh about those Friday calls now! A huge thank you to Steve for sticking with us through such a rollercoaster and helping us finally get there. We’re incredibly grateful.
17th Mar 2026 (2 days ago)Their communication was very poor throughout. Even on the day of completion, after they had handed the keys to the buyer, we had no call letting us know. Finally had to call in and was told the sale was complete. Ben was the prime agent throughout. Surprised by the other glowing reviews, this was certainly not our experience.

Olivia was amazing from start to finish- 22nd May 2025 (9 mo. ago)Chris and Jo from Fenn Wright are both very experienced and professional and certainly know their stuff. They are both very friendly and approachable and were on hand to guide as and when was necessary. I would use them again to sell my house.

11th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)I purchased a property through Douglas Allen. I found the sales team, especially Oscar and Lucy, very helpful and pleasant to deal with when you could get through to them / see them. The office seemed under manned and there were quite a few occasions when my phone call would be diverted to an answering / out of hours team (even when calling during office hours) who could only take a message and email the sales team in Billericay. On one occasion I wanted to pop in during my lunch break (1 - 2pm, week day) only to find the whole office was shut as all staff were on a training course. The staff are knowledgeable and good at what they do but this lack of communication is both frustrating and annoying and not ideal during what is a stressful process

They are still the same bunch of people who will try to rip you off on every single occasion. Please avoid at all cost. There are plenty good agencies out there

4th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)How many of you can say that you contacted an estate agent on a Tuesday and by the following Tuesday you received confirmation that your property has provisionally sold? I can. David Burr visited my house discussed details and value, measured up, took photos, produced a brochure, identified and contacted prospective buyers for a viewing which proved successful; all within a week. This was due to the professionalism of the team at Castle Hedingham who I found knowledgeable, personable and helpful. So thank you to Tim, Richard and Gemma who kept a tight grip on the process and enabled my move to be conducted smoothly.

She went above and beyond to make sure I got the home I so badly wanted even on her days off she called me to keep me in the loop and she processed all the necessary referencing in more then a timely manner meaning I heard back same day! I lost my Mother in August 2024 and employed Chamberlain Phillips to sell both my property and my Mothers at the same time to enable my move to a different area. I embarked on the process not doubting their skills, but believing this would take nothing short of a miracle to happen. From Craig, Lorraine , and the rest of the team in between, they carried me through a really difficult and sensitive time, going way over and above with help, advice and skill. I will never be able to thank them enough and for someone that has gone through around 20 house moves in my lifetime, they are by far the best. Thank you all so much.

5th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)I recently sold my house with colubrid and cannot fault them , my house was sold within 2 weeks. We had around 30 viewings in the first week with several offers. I was kept up to date at every stage, we had a buyer pull out and the next day they had another buyer at the same offer ready to go. Special mention to Joshua who did the valuation , he made me feel at ease straight away and I trusted he could sell the house quickly. The whole team are really friendly and easy to get in touch with.

From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how efficiently Martine handled everything, thanks to her dedication and expertise, we were able to complete the deal much quicker than expected. She kept us well informed of what was happening within our chain and made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. I truly appreciate all the hard work she put in to get this over the line. Also overall butler and stag are brilliant estate agents and would recommend to friends and family!
