As we were living in Cardiff and could not easily travel back to Manchester for viewings, they went above and beyond by arranging and sending us a detailed video tour of the property. This made the whole process so much easier and less stressful for us.<br><br>They were always available to answer our questions, kept us informed at every stage, and made what can often be a complicated process feel smooth and straightforward.<br><br>We are very grateful for all their support and would highly recommend Lucy and Murray to anyone looking to rent a property. Buying a house can be incredibly stressful, especially with a long chain involved, but Julie was proactive, supportive, and always kept things moving. Her communication, persistence, and coordination made a huge difference and genuinely helped get the purchase over the line. The wider team were also professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. Thank you again to Julie and the team for all of your hard work. From putting on the market, finding our buyer and updates and communication through out the whole sale was outstanding with added care and compassion as it was my Dad's estate. Being an estate agent ourselves from a different area it was refreshing to come across an outstanding agent and whole team at Royton. We could not recommend you highly enough.

26th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Put my house on the market back in January with Edward Mellor (Hazel Grove) Chris came out to value our property and put it on the market, and Emma who helped market our property was both amazing. They sold our property on opening day for the full asking price. Zoe and Sue mortgage advisors was also 5*s , with there help and advice: But I would just like to say how disappointed we was we the after sale department after this. I got a call afew weeks later from a lady called Natalie Jenkins who said I’m your sale coordinator, and I will be looking after you through to completion. Well I just want to say how shocking the service was I received. I would call and she would never answer, it like she’d diverted my number, I would leave endless messages for her and she never returned my calls.(even the agent I was buying off struggled to reach her) Literally think I spoke with her twice in 6 months. I learnt more from my sale agent then I did from Edward Mellor.<br>Then the day we completed she was on the phone asking at what time the keys would be dropped in by! Just think certain problem shouldn’t be in certain roles if they can’t fulfill them.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
