If they can’t be bothered to return a simple enquiry, it speaks volumes about how this branch operates and suggests a lack of professionalism across the company as a whole. Poor service all around

Even though we haven’t put an offer in yet, the service we’ve received has been very respectable and professional throughout. The team have been welcoming, responsive, and genuinely helpful without any pressure. A special mention to Teddy, who has been excellent. His communication, honesty, and willingness to assist have really stood out and made the experience feel smooth and reassuring. Based on our experience so far, we would definitely look to use Quilliam Estate Agents in the future when finding our property.

From the start, the pricing advice felt realistic and well judged, which helped attract the right buyers quickly. Viewings were handled well and we always got clear, honest feedback, so we knew where things stood. After accepting an offer, Rob, James and the team stayed on top of everything and kept the process moving. Communication was consistent and we never felt out of the loop. End result was a smooth sale, good outcome and a timeline that worked for our move abroad. Would definitely recommend them.

30th Apr 2026 (9 days ago)We recently sold our flat through shaw and co and our entire experience has been absolutely fantastic. Sheetal Suri did the initial valuation and was very polite and informative about the market and how shaw and co would handle the process if we did choose them. Having met a few other estate agents I was convinced that this firm would be the best to go with. We landed an offer within a couple of viewings and from offer accepted to completion Jindra Lall was at hand. She was always assisting us and enabled us the close the transaction quickly. We are really pleased with our whole experience of dealing with shaw and co and would not hesitate to recommend them for any sales.

18th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)Great estate agents , Always sorted any little problems out as soon as possible can’t fault them for the way they conduct themselves and run the business . But only negatives and why it’s not 5 starts Is because they deducted £100 from me for the £200 deep clean, which I spent hours on end and spent about £30 on cleaning equipment getting the place nearly spotless so not sure why they paid £200 for a deep clean when there was only about 30 mins worth of cleaning to be done there was abit of dust on top of a door and extractor fan needed cleaning, I’m sure they could have got someone just to go clean them things instead of paying for deep clean . But it is what it is ,most estate agents do that these days probably so they can show the new tenants it got deep cleaned by professionals ,just seems abit harsh on tenants who leave it in good nick because what’s the point spending all the hours I did leaving it clean if going to get billed for deep clean anyway ? . I agreed to the deduction as overall they’ve been good agents so I don’t want to dispute over £100 and then have to wait ages for deposit .<br>My flat was down an alley way and the restaurants and bin men would leave it a right mess , when I asked John at the start if someone could clean it he said it’s not their problem that bit as don’t own the pathway . I get it’s not there problem as they don’t own the alley way but you’d think if you had flats there you would pay someone to go every 2 weeeks or so to tidy up . So I had to tidy it up a few times myself which I didn’t want to do but had no choice .<br>The flat was excellent and the cheapest on the market for that size imo but the alley way definitely ruined it because it was embarrassing sometimes to get friends around walking through loads of rubbish to get to flat

10th Apr 2026 (29 days ago)Very deceptive, do not try to buy a property with them if you value your time, they are very shady and will try to squeeze extra money from you at every chance, making up fake competing offers and telling you stories that doesn’t make any sense
1st Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)We’ve just sold a 3 bed penthouse at 500 Chiswick Road. Lewin initially got us hooked in with proactive advice, which got us listing with KF exclusively. Fabienne took over and partnered with us for almost 18 months. Without her help, the sale wouldn’t have happened. Fabienne is a rare find and the whole package: if you were to list your ideal agent, you’d find Fabienne ticks all the boxes. Having spent yrs headhunting talent, I can assert with confidence that she’s got it. Values, humour (and did we need it!), she’s indefatigable, with razor sharp intelligence, she’s thorough, responsible for forging through sizeable roadblocks…I could go on forever. If we ever sell our family home, it wouldn’t occur to us to look elsewhere. In a congested market, she’s head and shoulders above the rest I've ever met.

22nd Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)I do not think Davenports even deserve a 1 star to be honest. - Terrible communication - Last minute cancellations MULTIPLE times because "the rugby was on" (kick off was at 3pm and viewing was at 10am). The rugby had little to no impact early in the morning. - They then sent a junior who just started who knew nothing about the house or why its for sale. He had 2 months experience. - Tardy and very lacking attitude to their customers. I'm a sales director myself, I would never let my staff run a business like this. Shocking to say the least
