6th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.
14th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)What an absolute brilliant team. Marc was there to show me round the property. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Rachael, well there are no words good enough to explain the help that she gave me. She was my rock through all this and went more than above and beyond for me. If anyone is thinking of using this estate agent then go for it you will not get a better service from anyone.
22nd Oct 2026 (5 days ago)My initial experience with WHB was not great. My name was used incorrectly on an email and document. I also had a viewing, but no one turned up. I contacted WHB and was told that they did know that the viewing was cancelled, but forget to communicate this to me. My overall experience was ok.

We have just moved home & Rob, Alicia, Emily & the team were great throughout the entire process.<br><br>At the start when our previous house went on the market the team made sure it was on for the right price which helped our house sell in under a week. They don’t tell you what you want to hear, they are honest in their valuation & tell you the price which the house will sell at.<br><br>Unfortunately the first sale fell through initially (not of their doing). They were brilliant, they liaised with the estate agent of the house we were buying to inform them of the situation & the plan of how they would get the house back on the market. It was back on the market the following day & sold again in under a week.<br><br>Once the process of moving was underway Alicia - who was dealing with our sale, was always available for a phone call to answer any queries & always answered emails the same day. But when Alicia wasn’t available members of the team would always be willing to take messages & chase up so we didn’t lose any time.<br><br>They also chased all parties involved to ensure the process was completed as soon as possible, it made the entire process a lot less stressful & allowed us to focus on sorting out our property prior to moving as we knew they were doing everything in their power to get the sale completed quickly.<br><br>I could not recommend Anderson’s enough & I will be directing friends & family who are moving, to them to sell their house. We cannot thank them enough!<br><br>Thanks Rob & the team!

She made the whole process of getting started really straightforward.<br><br>Karen was equally brilliant throughout the sale, keeping me updated, answering any questions and helping keep things moving along.<br><br>There were a few challenges along the way, but the team were always friendly, professional and helpful.<br><br>A big thank you to Emily, Karen and the rest of the team for all their help. I would happily recommend Haybrook to anyone looking to sell their property!

The whole process was very easy and straightforward, and I’m so grateful that they gave me the opportunity to rent a property through them.<br><br>I had approached several other agencies before, and unfortunately, not all of them were as understanding or willing to give me a chance. That’s why I really appreciate the way Beecroft Estates handled my situation and made the process so much less stressful.<br><br>A special thank you to Georgia Frodsham, who was incredibly helpful, understanding and professional throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they kept me fully informed of everything that was happening. Being local I was able to pop in and talk to them at any time and I was always made welcome. 28th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with this letting agency was extremely disappointing. Throughout my tenancy, communication was often unprofessional and intimidating rather than helpful. Instead of treating tenants with respect, I frequently felt pressured and dismissed whenever I raised concerns. I was served notice to leave the property with the explanation that the landlord wanted to take it back. However, shortly afterwards, I found the same property being advertised for rent again at the same price. This left me feeling that I had not been given the real reason for ending my tenancy. The return of my deposit was also handled very poorly. It took more than 60 days to receive my deposit back, with the agency repeatedly stating that the landlord was holding it. As the managing agency, I expected them to resolve this much more efficiently. They also proposed deductions for cleaning, despite the fact that I had professionally cleaned the property, spent additional money repainting parts of the house, and left it in excellent condition. When I asked for photographs or any evidence to justify the deductions, none was provided. As an international tenant whose first language is not English, I often felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that I was at a disadvantage during discussions. Overall, I found this to be one of the least professional letting agencies I have dealt with. I believe good letting agencies should communicate honestly, treat tenants fairly, and support both landlords and tenants in a transparent and professional manner. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)?????<br><br>Where do we even begin!<br><br>My partner and I recently sold our property through Hughes, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it's been! Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team. You've all played a part in helping our family move into what we hope will be our dream home.<br><br>Buying and selling a house can be stressful at the best of times, but having the right people in your corner makes all the difference.<br><br>We genuinely couldn't have done it without you, and we'll always be grateful.<br><br>Thank you all so much! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hughes to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.
