22nd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)We saw a property for let online, and last week my partner reached out to the agency to request a viewing and ask what documents were needed for the application. We were told we’d get an email with the details, but never received a response. After ome week I followed up asking for both a reply and a viewing, but again, nothing. Honestly, it’s not surprising the property has been on the market for almost a year—prospective tenants shouldn’t have to chase basic communication. Because of this lack of professionalism and responsiveness, we decided to look elsewhere and won’t be dealing with this agency.

Adam was incredibly professional, kind, and supportive, and Warren was also so helpful throughout. They found me a property so quickly and made what could have been a very stressful situation feel so much easier. I truly couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Very responsive to our needs, easy to communicate with and when we came to give up renting and buy, she was really very flexible with helping us to do that with move out dates etc! I could not recommend Alvares Estates more, thank you Malissa!

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I am a 44 years old an a Gas Safe Engineer. I have been working in maintenance since 1996. Never seen a worse maintenance company than Strettons. I have no words to describe how we the residents of Onslow Parade N14 5JN feel. Come and judge for yourself before considering to buy or rent a property where this company is involved. Now obviously they are going to reply that they do as much as possible etc . Which is rubbish! We are their customer and we are the people entitled to give them a honest good or bad review. Don't listen to they answers
12th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)We rented an apartment through Johns & Co at approximately £5,500 per month, with our tenancy handled by Ralph. Unfortunately, the start of the tenancy was extremely disappointing and far below the standard one would reasonably expect at this price level. During the first week we encountered a number of serious issues. The property had not been properly prepared at move-in, the fire alarms were not functioning initially, and a malfunctioning door lock resulted in my mother being unable to exit the property for an extended period. In addition, we experienced no heating for around five days, no hot water or proper shower for approximately six days, and the fridge remained non-functional for more than a week, meaning we were unable to store food. There were also other faults including leaks and malfunctioning appliances. What was particularly concerning was the slow response to these issues. Despite the number of problems, no one from the agency attended the property to assess the situation in person, and communication largely consisted of messages while repairs were arranged gradually over time. While some issues were eventually addressed, the overall experience during the first week of the tenancy caused significant disruption and was not consistent with the expectations for a property marketed as a premium apartment.
28th Sep 2025 (25 weeks ago)I felt they had an accurate sense of the market in our locality and delivered on a rapid sale promise. If you need an higher price, other estate agents will try to find that for you. That might be the right approach for you, but if you want to sell at the market price, Standford’s aim to do that for you.

She was extremely efficient throughout the process and consistently proactive in chasing the sellers, the sellers’ solicitors, and our own solicitors to keep everything moving. Her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring during what can be a stressful time. Thanks to her dedication and professionalism, the whole process felt far smoother than expected. I would happily recommend Cauvery to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely committed estate agent.

6th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)The experience with Salik and Co over the last three years has been appalling. We have been reporting mould for the last two years with no effective action. When mandatory work has been done (such as firedoor checks) workmen have not observed the 24hr notice period in our contract. One knocked on the door, didn’t even try to explain who he was and who he worked for before trying to force his way into the house. When I didn’t let him in (and documented this with Salik and Co saying that I didn’t feel safe in my own home), it was barely acknowledged. As a house of four women our initial contact treated us with nothing bur condescension (when we could get hold of him) refusing to offer assistance when our boiler, shower and kitchen electricity all went down at the same time. When we finally got him on the phone he brushed off our assessment of the situation saying "that's for a professional to judge" before hanging up. It took many more calls and emails to actually convince him to send said professionals over. Ending our tenancy while Salik & Co have been under new management has also been a deeply uncomfortable experience. A representative of Salik & Co entered the house without warning at 11am on January 26th when our tenancy wasn’t due to end until the 27th with the intent to perform the check out meeting without a tenant present. When I encountered him, he had not read any of the emails sent the day before rescheduling the meeting. He also behaved in a deeply insensitive way to a domestic violence incident that took place within the property. Sharing the victim’s address (which she had specifically requested to keep private) with the girlfriend of the perpetrator. I have found Salik & Co to be combative in emails while also being misinformed of tenants rights and the law. To both property owners and renters, I would recommend avoiding this agency like the plague.

After five long years of struggling to sell my flat, I had almost given up hope. It was a very complicated sale with many challenges, yet Kyle stepped in and did what no one else could. Within just a couple of weeks of taking professional photos and launching the property, he secured a strong offer and moved the process forward with impressive efficiency. Kyle is outstanding at what he does — not only professional and highly skilled, but also genuine, reliable, and honest. His communication was exceptional from day one. He was always available, kept me fully informed, and handled every obstacle with calm confidence and expertise. Most importantly, I felt I could truly trust him throughout the entire journey — and that is rare to find in this industry. 12th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)During my viewing with Mr Soobh, I felt uncomfortable due to comments about my choice of clothing and inappropriate remarks regarding bedroom size. The whole experience felt unprofessional. I was referred by a neighbour who secured a property late last year, so I expected better, especially given the type of properties involved. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t advise any woman to attend a viewing alone.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Excellent communication, attention to detail and don't take on too many clients (unlike some other agents I considered) and so had the time to be thorough and do a great job, going above and beyond what I expected. Jules negotiated an unexpectedly good sale price for my house and, with the additional support of Nicola at the Whitfields office to progress the sale, really helped keep everything on track. Both buyer and seller are treated with respect and honesty and there is regular communication with both parties right through to completion.
