1st Jul 2026 (14 days ago)I've just started my first experience as a Landlord, and Rochford Stokes have helped me find tenants and get everything in order. The overall experience has been great so far, I didn't feel pressured into any decisions (like I felt when considering other agents), received great advice at every step and fantastic follow-ups on every question and items to handle (which was not a short list!).<br>They're a small, dedicated team that knows what they're doing and will look after you. I was glad to see they have reviews from tenants managed by them (a rare gem), and look forward to having them care for my tenants similarly. As a local, dedicated and experienced agent, I have no doubt I made the right choice. We're off to a great start.

10th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

Their fee is very competitive but its their communication and efforts in driving the sales process through to completion that is top notch. They aren't pushy or too salesy and definitely have the best interests of the vendor as their main focus.

15th Mar 2026 (17 weeks ago)Here is a brief outline of the goings one which happened while the property was still under my ownership. 1 The keys to the property were given out on an adhoc basis to various trades employed by the potential new owners. 2 Potential new owners demolished part of the property 3 Potential new owners started decorating the property 4 Potential new owners gained access to the property without my approval on various occasions All in all a pretty pi## poor performance all round, when I emailed my complaint, never heard a word back , I strongly suspect the email never made it to the bosses in box or he/she didn't give a toss

25th Jun 2026 (20 days ago)We were struggling to sell our home which was on the market for months before we moved to Connells in Bicester. I had given up hope somewhat and gave them a short window to get it sold before we withdrew from the market and they immediately had a string of very positive viewings and found us a buyer very quickly. The whole team were fantastic, friendly and helpful, especially Lydia and Polly who I spoke to a number of times and they conducted some viewings with our buyers. Kevin also performed a number of heroics in chasing the rest of the chain to keep things moving forward and was always extremely responsive and willing to help, even making calls for us on his days off which was above and beyond. We don’t intend to move again, but if we did I would go straight to Connells and would highly recommend. Thank you team for all your efforts.

From the very beginning, they kept us fully up to date with every aspect of the process, ensuring we were always informed and knew what was happening at each stage. The team was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful, making what can often be a stressful experience feel much smoother and more manageable. Their communication was excellent, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. We are extremely grateful for all their hard work and would highly recommend Seafields to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

Was worried about the process of renting through an agent but it was a breeze. They were so so helpful and got me into a new property in around 3 weeks :) they have totally changed my view on renting through agent now. Becky was an absolute superstar making the process so easy and straightforward. Thank you again everyone ??

He provided a realistic valuation, provide a swift marketing service, having gone live on Monday, with two viewings within 24 hours and several scheduled for that week, both initial viewings yielded offers, one of which was at the full asking price. Property sold subject to contract as at 30 May 2026 I would highly recommend Charlton Grace, Mark has provided a bespoke/specialised service with clear communication and professionalism all at a very competitive agency rate, excellent job to date. Sterling went above and beyond for us to close a sale on our last property in a tough market. Throughout the process Sterling was pro-active in keeping us updated, even communicating directly with our conveyancer to speed things along, and we felt he really fought our corner during those last couple of weeks of buyer inquiries when the sale could either go through or fall through.<br>I would highly recommend Stirling the rest of the team at James Hayward including Dee, Julian and Lisa.
