The staff was kind and accommodating (Katie, Megan, Angela), and when something needed addressed, Rachel was helpful, responsive, and prompt. A rare bright spot in this awful market. Would gladly let a property advertised by Cavendish.

23rd May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Incredible service from Aston White from start to finish. Martin was great. Very professional, with excellent communication and most importantly, they knew how to attract the right serious buyers. They handled the viewings, kept us informed, and were very knowledgeable about the local market. A lot of estate agents are more like “marketing” companies and lack the personal touch. Aston White feels more like a professional consultancy, which is what makes them different. If you are looking to sell or buy a property in Billericay, I would suggest speaking with Aston White first. We tried a local estate agent before, and you couldn’t even compare the two.
16th Jun 2026 (29 days ago)Such an easy, smooth process when I was looking for a flat, everyone was so friendly and helpful, they called me back when they said they would, they confirmed all the appointments were still going ahead, they explained everything in a very clear way and kept me updated at each step. In what could have been an incredibly stressful process, they made it very easy for me. I primarily dealt with Emily, who was so personable and made me feel very at ease, keeping me up to date at every step. The industry needs more people like Emily and the team at Home & Castle.

They did advise us to put the property on higher than other estate agents and then within 3 weeks suggested we lower it based on feedback on how the market had slowed. Eventually they found someone who really liked the property which was great. Very thankful to the team.
28th Mar 2026 (16 weeks ago)Generally ok, however agent reassured us our family ‘profile’ would appeal to sellers, some days later they sold to a property developer! Not much more to say, I guess more money was the ‘profile’ that won! Also as days lapsed communication went sour. And since they never contacted us regarding any new properties, effectively loosing interest!

Communication was always professional, friendly and quick, and everything was handled smoothly from start to finish. George kept us updated throughout and was always happy to help with any questions we had. Collecting the keys and completing the purchase went very smoothly, and we really appreciated all the support during the process. Highly recommended.

Regan, Rob and Roger provided an excellent service, always easy to reach and helpful; they went out of their way on many occasions to make it happen. Overall, they were thoughtful and very professional throughout the process. I know who to go to if I ever want to sell.

18th Jun 2026 (27 days ago)The owner of the agency Hassan locked us out of the property. This is absolutely illegal.<br>We have already reported this to Walthamstow Council Tenancy Relations and 101. Hassan called us at 20:20 and threatened with fist fight.<br>I expect to receive an reply from your business profile on how you apologise for the inconvenience and how can you will investigate. However you are the owner of the company who locked us outside of the property and as you cannot investigate this case I will reach the the required teams for this. We did mention we had leak from the boiler and no one came to look at this.<br>We will now report this to gassafe as well.
13th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)We recently dealt with Cassidy & Tate in St Albans (specifically Lucie) during the purchase process for a property. We submitted three offers, all of which were ultimately rejected, which in itself is not the issue. The concern is the communication style and overall handling of the sales process. After our viewing, I was the one who followed up to express our interest in making an offer, rather than receiving any proactive follow-up call. From that point onwards, communication was conducted entirely via email with no telephone contact at any stage. On multiple occasions, we asked whether our position could be communicated directly to the vendors by phone, particularly as we are first-time buyers with no chain and the property required significant renovations. However, we were told that communication with the vendors was also being handled via email rather than direct telephone discussion. Even when we increased our offer and specifically requested that our position be verbally communicated to the vendors to help properly present our circumstances, we continued to receive email responses confirming rejection, without any direct conversation taking place. Overall, the process felt very passive in terms of sales approach and negotiation. In our experience, there was no telephone-based engagement or active selling of our position to the vendors, which is something we would typically expect from an estate agent acting in a sales capacity. While we appreciate that offers are not always accepted, we were disappointed with the lack of proactive communication and the absence of any real attempt to progress negotiations beyond email exchanges. We will actively try to avoid purchasing a future property through Cassidy & Tate going forward.
