11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)I would highly recommend Zack and the whole team at Hunters in Barnsley.<br>We had many complications with our sale, outside of anyone’s control, and the team handled it all with great communication, patience and tenacity in getting the house to completion.<br>If anyone is thinking about selling in their area I would not hesitate to point them in the direction of Hunters. 14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give minus stars I would. Communication is awful, constantly chasing, promised calls back then hear nothing. Impossible to get hold of them, including trying to ring 16 times to find out if our offer had even been accepted. Got basic things wrong when buying our house including our offer amount. Buying a house is stressful enough without having to repeatedly chase the estate agents. I would absolutely not recommend them and would strongly advise anyone considering using them to look elsewhere.- 3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Amelia has been brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always happy to help with any questions or concerns I had. She is so friendly, warm and approachable, which made what can be a very stressful process much easier. Her communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt supported and kept updated. Thank you, Amelia, for all your hard work – I really appreciate everything you’ve done!
- 14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)Following listening to a conversation with friends about how much their property was worth I thought I would check the value of mine. I had no intention of selling it in the near future just curious. I rang several estate agents and, once I explained why I wanted to know the value they were not interested. W.H.Browns name popped up and so I called them. They were so pleasant and arranged for someone to come out at my convenience. The young man was very pleasant and polite and after doing all the relevent checks gave me a quote. He went out of his way to put me at ease as I live alone and even stayed a short while for a friendly chat. As I said I am not intending selling my property in the near future, however should my circumstances change I will most certainly use W.H.Brown as my Estate Agents.
13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)Had a viewing for a house today with an agent called Harrison 10/10 would recommend them. very friendly and chatty, dropped some good jokes here and there and was very informative with the process of what we need to do. The agent who took my call when i was doing the application was also lovely and very polite. amazing service!!

Outstanding support when things got difficult I first contacted Reeds Rains – previously at 16-18 Moorgate Street, now at Wickersley Rotherham in March 2024 to help me find a flat. From the start, I was told the landlord would manage the property. I thought it would make no difference whether it was managed by the agent or landlord, but it turned out to be a terrible experience all through my stay of over two years. What impressed me most was that the team stood by me from beginning to end, even when issues arose over my deposit. They guided me step-by-step and helped me successfully recover my full deposit plus overpaid rent — something I could not have done without their support. A special mention for Abby — even though she is no longer with the company, her hard work, resilience and dedication were truly noticed and appreciated. I also want to say the Accounts Department was absolutely amazing — efficient, helpful and always there when I needed them. Thank you to every member of the team. I couldn't remember names, the branch manager and other staff members was brilliant. You turned a very stressful situation around and showed real care for your tenants. I highly recommend this office.

Buying a house or selling a house is very stressful, especially when you’re a single person, Emily and Tammy were excellent and helped me through the smooth process. The entire team are very attentive throughout the entire process to keep things progress and were incredibly friendly.<br><br>Thank you in particular to Emily throughout the valuation and listing process - she was absolutely the reason I chose to list with Haybrooks.<br><br>And a very special thank you to Fynn who became the best point of contact throughout the viewing and then sale process. He always knew what was happening, went out of his way to get things moving when there were bottlenecks and was a genuine joy to work with throughout the entire process.

From the very beginning, he has been incredibly efficient, professional and genuinely helpful throughout my purchase journey so far.<br><br>Jake submitted my very first offer on what will be my dream home, and he has gone above and beyond at every stage since. He even delayed his lunch break so I could get to the office with my paperwork, then helped with all the technical side of uploading the documents so everything could be processed quickly.<br><br>Communication has been outstanding. Jake has kept me fully informed about my vendor's house search and the progress of the rest of the chain, so I've always known where things stood. He also instructed my solicitors on my behalf, making the whole process much smoother and taking a lot of the stress away.<br><br>Whenever I've called or emailed, Jake has always responded promptly.<br><br>If you're buying or selling a property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jake and the team at Mallinson & Co. Everyone did great work in promoting the property. But Millie stood out with her commitment to securing us potential clients. But most of all she helped me negotiate my way through the ups and downs of selling the property. She helped me manage the emotional rollercoaster by being eternally cheerful! And my goodness that is an essential quality. Enthusiasm makes everything seem possible and Millie has that in abundance.
