Although neither my brother nor myself are local, I could tell Mark was a man of integrity on our first meeting and knew Watsons would help us achieve the best price possible. 8th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)We were happy to use Townend Estate Agents from initial valuation appointment. They were quick at getting our property on the market and the photos were excellent. They communicated well and booked viewings that worked for ourselves and the prospective buyers. We had a sale subject to contract within a week of listing. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pro active agent for their property sale.

10th Jul 2025 (9 mo. ago)There was no real drive to help sell the property, no regular promotion had to ask and push for it several times. Didn’t do checks with people booked for viewing whether they are able to purchase, a lot of no shows as well.

8th Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)I got in touch with them to enquire about a property, requested a call back for it. When called back, I was faced with very hostile behaviour as the I would not be a potential client and as though I shouldn’t have made an enquiry.

11th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Very telling most of the positive reviews elsewhere are from buy to let people.I wish estate agents would just offer buy to let landlords on their books properties first before placing it on open market. It stops everyone else wasting their time with viewings and offers that will go nowhere. Staff perfectly nice but as a cash buyer offering full asking price and not being invited to increase offer when rejected, supposedly by the vendor, it's very frustrating.
