From calling and emailing me to enquire on update and on my wellbeing too. The staff are friendly and helpful. When I need report for EPC they had contact. They also have a contact for a removal company which took the stress off. Over all a great experience thanks team WW Estate

Throughout the whole process they were incredibly helpful, always available and great at working with other parties to push the chain along. The price from the service provided felt very reasonable.<br><br>We had very challenging buyers who messed about until the last minute, Jemma and the team did a great job working with the solicitors and estate agents in the chain and really worked together to save the day.<br><br>Not sure I would have had this level of support and dedication from other estate agents. I would recommend them.

They remained involved from beginning to end, regularly chasing for updates and helping to make everything move more quickly and smoothly. Their communication and support made the experience much less stressful.<br><br>They also made completion feel extra special by giving me a lovely gift box, which was such a thoughtful touch. I would highly recommend Dinsdales Estates to anyone buying or selling a property.

5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Moveup Properties regarding property maintenance and tenant treatment. Whenever an issue is reported, the agency relies entirely on unverified assertions from their contractors, immediately trying to shift blame and financial responsibility onto the tenant rather than carrying out proper, independent assessments.<br><br>Instead of treating tenants fairly and recognizing basic wear-and-tear or low-quality components, they choose to make tenants look like the bad party. They need to drastically improve their professional diligence, hold their contractors accountable, and start treating their tenants with respect.

5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)I rented a property with these quite a few years ago, it was absolutely riddled in mice like a massive infestation. At the time I was really young around 19 years old. I had 2 young children with me, one of my daughters was still crawling. I would have to clean daily so she didn’t come across any mice droppings. The kitchen was completely rotten like actually falling apart under the sink, the oven cooker was so filthy I had to clean it for 2 days before I cooked any meals, I painted the kitchen cupboard front that were all rotten and got my bond taken off me for what they said would be to replace the whole kitchen I had apparently ruined! Ha! Should’ve been replaced before I moved in it was that bad. The carpets where the radiator pipes were had been chewed from mice, I left to stay with my mum a few days as I was depressed living there and as I returned their was droppings in my actual bed. Absolutely disgusting service and I’m 28 now and have avoided ever renting anymore properties from them. Taken full advantage of a young single mum and her 2 young children, would they live in a place like that? Then have their bond taken after being left to live in an infested pit?! I don’t think so. I would avoid like the plague. Not to mention the bond they kept was never used for the kitchen and the place was rented out exactly how I left it to the next people, I actually visited them to give them the heads up and they were already planning on moving out. Funny that isn’t it. Horrible people, horrible landlord, corrupt selfish and heartless agency.

11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Extremely poor experience. Belvoir were consistently slow and unresponsive, and the handling of my deposit was particularly disappointing. They waited until the very last day of the deadline to submit their proposed deductions, unnecessarily prolonging the process and leaving me waiting for my own money.<br><br>For a relatively small amount, the amount of chasing and hassle was completely unreasonable. I found the whole process dishonest and unprofessional, and I would not recommend Belvoir to any tenant.

Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

15th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Overpromised, Underperformed and Untrustworthy – My Costly Mistake with HSD I initially listed my property with PurpleBricks in March 2025 for £535,000. After limited viewings over a three-month period, I began exploring other options and submitted an enquiry to WeBuyAnyHouse. They quickly came back with an offer of £460,000—roughly 14% below asking—claiming it would allow for a quick sale. I immediately declined, as I was not in a rush and didn’t want to take such a significant loss. Shortly after, my details were apparently passed on to House Sales Direct (HSD), seemingly a sister company, without my explicit consent. HSD came across as professional and engaging at first. They promised a 98% success rate in selling properties within 28 days, citing a strong network of pre-approved buyers and investors who could complete within 6–8 weeks. They suggested a sale price spread of £510k–£535k, assuring me they would work to get me the best price possible. It sounded promising. Based on these assurances, I decided to proceed with HSD. I withdrew my PurpleBricks listing—costing me £300—with the understanding that HSD’s investor network would accelerate the sale. But things quickly began to unravel. Despite supposedly having investors lined up, HSD said they needed to relist my property on Rightmove first. When I questioned why investors couldn’t simply view the home, the response was vague. It took nearly two weeks for them to relist, and the new asking price was £525,000. A full week passed without any communication. Then came a call recommending the price be dropped to £499,000. I was told this was “just a marketing tactic,” and that they still aimed to get me a sale within the original £510k–£535k range. But I struggled to understand how listing a property nearly £40,000 lower would achieve that. I asked again about the investors. They finally admitted the only offer received was the same £460k I'd declined weeks earlier through WeBuyAnyHouse. This was when the red flags really began to show. Why wasn’t I told this upfront? Why present an optimistic price range if their investor offer was fixed at £460k from the beginning? Why was I encouraged to pull the property from PurpleBricks if they intended to rely on the open market anyway? I could have just reduced the price there and avoided unnecessary costs and delays. Doing more research online, I found stories from others with eerily similar experiences. It appeared HSD’s real model was to attract sellers with high expectations and then drop the price, relying on open-market tactics to force a quick sale. Despite claiming not to charge commission, they would never clearly explain how they made their money. It seems they may be negotiating higher prices with buyers while offering sellers less—profiting off the gap. No transparency, no trust. Meanwhile, they knew I was paying a high mortgage on an empty property. It became clear they were hoping I’d become desperate enough to accept the same low £460k offer I had already rejected twice. In the four weeks my property was listed with them, only four viewings were arranged. Two were no-shows. Of the remaining two, one viewer stayed for just five minutes—asked no questions and didn’t even view all the rooms. It felt performative, not serious. As expected, neither viewer submitted an offer, despite supposedly being “pre-qualified and keen.” Eventually, I told HSD I wanted to withdraw the property. That’s when I was informed—shockingly—that I had unknowingly signed up for a 52-week contract, and I’d need to pay £1,500 to exit, or £999 if paid within 7 days. I wrote to them, acknowledged that they had done some work, and offered a reasonable £699 exit fee, explaining I needed to rent the home out due to financial strain. They refused and insisted on full payment. I paid the £999 immediately—but it still took a full week and several chasers before they finally removed the property from Rightmove. By the end of the ordeal, it was clear I was no longer a priority for them. In summary: Do I regret choosing HSD? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to someone looking for a fair, transparent, and professional house sale experience? No. If your only goal is to sell quickly and you don’t care about value, they might work for you. But if you want to sell your home at a decent price with a partner you can trust, I strongly advise staying away from HSD.

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.

As a buyer, I had an excellent experience with them from the very first viewing right through to completion.<br><br>The entire process was handled in a very professional, friendly and efficient manner. From the initial viewing, the team were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, and they made the whole experience feel straightforward and stress-free. Communication throughout the purchase was excellent, and I always felt that I could rely on them whenever I had a question or needed an update.<br><br>What really stood out was how supportive and professional the team remained throughout the whole process, especially as the purchase progressed towards exchange and completion. They kept things moving, communicated clearly and were always approachable and helpful.<br><br>Buying a home can be a very stressful experience, but DPSH made the process much easier and more reassuring.
