Joe Hayes is and has always been very professional, he does what he says he is going to do. Honesty is key, there is no point telling you an inflated sale price, you are just wasting everyone’s time. Great communication, a driven mindset and the best selling agent in Brentwood. I would highly recommend the Brentwood team. Under offer within 10 days and we have now exchanged contracts. Balgores’s should be renamed Balglorys ??????

23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Incredible service from Aston White from start to finish. Martin was great. Very professional, with excellent communication and most importantly, they knew how to attract the right serious buyers. They handled the viewings, kept us informed, and were very knowledgeable about the local market. A lot of estate agents are more like “marketing” companies and lack the personal touch. Aston White feels more like a professional consultancy, which is what makes them different. If you are looking to sell or buy a property in Billericay, I would suggest speaking with Aston White first. We tried a local estate agent before, and you couldn’t even compare the two.

We were buying with them & the chain was long & complicated and every step of the process Jess and team were there to support. Jess is honest, clear, maintains excellent communication throughout the process. She always tells you exactly how it is to avoid wasting your time & to make sure everything goes through. She helped manage the entire process often being the one to chase solicitors and get stuff sorted way beyond her role. She went above and beyond and we would 100% recommend them to family & friends & we will definitely use them again!
31st May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Temme English sold us the property we are now living in and although obviously had the interests of the sellers, they were always polite and professional and answered any questions we had. They were quick to ring us back if they couldn’t answer straight away. We would happily recommend them.
13th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Fennwright as not acted in my best interest upon end of tenancy. I paid my rents and never delayed a minute and when I ended my tenancy upon expiration of agreement, I was presented a bill of £505 which I found to be unfair to me. I contacted Fennwright and it’s clear my opinion and interest doesn’t matter to them except for that of the landlord. I am also your client and deserve better treatment. Not sure I can deal with Fennwright again because it’s clear they are on the side of the landlord and not the tenants

ParaBar clearly have in-depth knowledge of the local market, and this led to our house selling quickly and for more than other agents had indicated. Wayne in particular was excellent - he was always friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond. It was our first time selling and he carefully guided us through the process, even doing all he could to help us secure our onward purchase. Wayne was easy to contact when needed, but also gave us regular updates and advice throughout. Overall an excellent experience, and a much better one that we had anticipated. As first-time buyers, it was really reassuring to have so much help and support from Dan throughout the whole process. Dan and his team went far beyond to help us with our purchase. They were always available whenever we needed them, incredibly supportive, and made everything feel smooth, easy, and far less stressful than we expected. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough. We had a few agents come out to value our property, but we decided to go with Colubrid because, from our first meeting, Joshua seemed extremely confident that he could sell our home quickly. As the Chelmer Village estate agent, he explained that properties like ours are his bread and butter. Our property went on the market on Thursday and was sold by Monday. I cannot thank Joshua and the team enough for their hard work and professionalism throughout. I believe Millie conducted the viewings, and I was told she was local to the area. That certainly showed, as her knowledge of Chelmer Village helped generate multiple offers on our property. If you're thinking of choosing Colubrid, don't hesitate. I would highly recommend them.

14th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)As a renter, my experience of Bairstow Eves Billericay branch was very disappointing and frustrating. They are very friendly and chatty but fail to get the job done and action items on their side. I had 2 experiences, where it took a prolonged time and lots of chasing, in order for the action to happen. The first time, I wanted to renew our contract with some adjustments and it took lots of chasing and follow ups as they were unable to action what was agreed with the landlord and update the contract. The second time, they took over a month to return our deposit. Despite both the landlord and I, confirming to them that it can be returned the same day as speaking with them, they decided to wait a week before instructing the deposits team. Friendly bunch but they made everything 10x harder than it had to be.
