31st May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Temme English sold us the property we are now living in and although obviously had the interests of the sellers, they were always polite and professional and answered any questions we had. They were quick to ring us back if they couldn’t answer straight away. We would happily recommend them.
13th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Fennwright as not acted in my best interest upon end of tenancy. I paid my rents and never delayed a minute and when I ended my tenancy upon expiration of agreement, I was presented a bill of £505 which I found to be unfair to me. I contacted Fennwright and it’s clear my opinion and interest doesn’t matter to them except for that of the landlord. I am also your client and deserve better treatment. Not sure I can deal with Fennwright again because it’s clear they are on the side of the landlord and not the tenants

26th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)The sales instruction was given on the basis of the local knowledge and market evaluation provided by the agent. However during the agreed length of the agreement, no viewing was arranged, at the end of the 4th week, agent approached me for a chat, agreed a time. He never contacted me, my overall experience with this so called “ Estate Agent” is terrible, no communication from the office/agent since instruction, not pro active. This resulted in my withdrawing from the market

From the start through to completion, the level of communication was excellent and the team worked very hard, with someone always available when I had any queries. A special shout out to Dale on the Sales side and Hayley, Sales Progressor, who worked tirelessly to keep the sale on track when there were a few complications, liaising with both solicitors and other parties and myself. I would definitely recommend.

The Wickford team delivered fantastic service from start to finish, making the whole process stress-free and straightforward. From the outset, Sigourney explained things clearly and sensitively, which made a very difficult and emotional process far easier to manage. Communication was always prompt, courteous, and reassuring, and I felt fully supported at every stage. What stood out most was the calm and compassionate manner in which matters were dealt with. I always felt treated with patience, respect, and understanding, and nothing ever felt too much trouble. The professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail gave me complete confidence throughout the probate process. 17th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)After 10 months on the market with another agent in Grays, I genuinely thought my house was never going to sell.<br><br>In all that time I only had 5 viewings and no offers. I hardly ever heard from the agent unless I chased them, and I was getting more and more frustrated as the months went by.<br><br>I had a leaflet through the door from Carter Remy offering a free valuation and, to be honest, I nearly binned it. I’m glad I didn’t.<br><br>They came round, had a look round the house and explained what they would do differently. There were no big promises, just a clear plan, so I decided to take a chance and switch agents.<br><br>Within the first week they had arranged an open day. I remember sitting there watching people arrive on my Ring doorbell and thinking “where was all this interest for the last 10 months?” There were 12 viewings in one day.<br><br>A few days later Craig called me and said they had 3 offers on the table, all at or above my asking price. I actually had tears in my eyes. It probably sounds silly, but I’ve had a really tough couple of years personally and the thought that I was finally going to be able to move and start the next chapter was overwhelming.<br><br>The sale itself wasn’t completely stress free, but that’s not Carter Remy’s fault. As with most house moves there were delays and solicitor issues along the way. Every time something needed chasing though, Anne-Marie and Allison were on it. They always came back to me, kept me updated and never left me wondering what was going on.<br><br>I completed 5 days ago and looking back, switching to Carter Remy was the best decision I made. They got me more viewings in a week than my previous agent managed in 10 months, found me a buyer almost immediately and helped get the sale over the finish line.<br><br>I can’t thank Craig, Anne-Marie, John, Allison and the rest of the team enough. They didn’t just sell my house, they restored my faith that there are estate agents out there who genuinely care about their clients.

They have moved away from the traditional hard sell estate agent , they work with huge knowledge and quiet confidence. We are happy with all aspects of their work and would say that despite their higher fees they are worth every penny.

We had a few agents come out to value our property, but we decided to go with Colubrid because, from our first meeting, Joshua seemed extremely confident that he could sell our home quickly. As the Chelmer Village estate agent, he explained that properties like ours are his bread and butter. Our property went on the market on Thursday and was sold by Monday. I cannot thank Joshua and the team enough for their hard work and professionalism throughout. I believe Millie conducted the viewings, and I was told she was local to the area. That certainly showed, as her knowledge of Chelmer Village helped generate multiple offers on our property. If you're thinking of choosing Colubrid, don't hesitate. I would highly recommend them.
5th Jul 2026 (1 day ago)I had a viewing with Seth on Marconi road and as a ftb found that he was so helpful in talking about Chelmsford as an area and, stuff like parking permits, style of houses in the area and what would hold their value and generally explaining everything in a clear and concise manner. I’d had viewings with other agents throughout the week and he was definitely the most helpful & knowledgeable compared to other agencies I’d viewed with.
