I wouldn’t use the again but the employees are approachable and kind. I just needed a stronger, more orofessional and experienced representation.

Being able to WhatsApp / keep in contact out of normal hours was a real help. Emma kept us updated at each stage and even went above and beyond. We would highly recommend.

27th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)I am not qualified to review Halls as an organisation, but I am eminently qualified to review the help given to me by the delightful member of staff who dealt with my consignment, which was directly connected with Stalag Luft III and the Great Escape. If other members of staff at Halls share even half the fine attributes of Caroline Dennard, then I suspect that the organisation itself deserves five stars too. At a very difficult time in my life, following the death of my wife, Caroline was unstinting in her labours, her empathy and her professionalism. She did more to honour the memory of the remarkable wartime RAF officer, whose memorabilia I was reluctantly having to sell, than I could ever have hoped for, even arranging for additional research by Doctor Steve Bond. Her hard work and kindness both yielded great dividends, for she not only helped soothe my suffering soul, but also bettered the auction's guide price. Most important, she put my beloved step-father's memory and medals into the hands of someone who would understand and value them.

13th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)The Leaders office in Nantwich was closed due to some technical problems, so we went to Crewe and the gentleman we spoke to was unfriendly and unhelpful. We had a complex letting situation which, though the information was technically correct, he was rude and unhelpful presenting to us. A couple of weeks later and we’ve just let a 3-story, 4-bedroom house in Nantwich thanks to the help of other companies letting agents who guided us through how to navigate the complexities of our situation. Do better.

You get a real sense of attention to detail and customer focus. From the start they have worked around us and supported. They have been ready to answer any questions and they are clear on what they will do to support you in selling your property. James was great when viewed and valued our property. He put real attention into getting the marketing right - and he's pretty handy with a camera! Paige looked after us from the day we went to market and was always available at the end of the phone when we needed her. She considered our needs for our next property worked with us at our pace to get everything in place. Her attention to detail is spot on and she goes above and beyond to keep you informed and updated. If you want to sell or buy a property, I would definitely recommend Butters John Bee in Nantwich.

26th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)The communication was absolutely terrible. They were good at the valuation and slowly things started to go downhill after that. They rarely responded to my emails, even when I wrote my concerns in them and often said they'd call me back, but didnt. They didnt even ask me if I wanted to do the viewings myself or not, it was just expected of me. I told them I did not want any boards put up on the property but someone still came to put one up. They got some things wrong in the listing they put up and didnt even check with me beforehand to see if it was accurate.
24th Apr 2026 (14 days ago)What an Estate Agent! The whole end to end process was handled professionally with nothing being too much trouble. We have used several different estate agents over the years, Wheatcroft & Lloyd are by far the best. They are so friendly, helpful & will go above & beyond without you even asking. Superb customer service which is a rarity these days. Our purchasers, who came for a 2nd viewing, mentioned how impressed they were with Wheatcroft & Lloyd & how they are so much better than their own agents. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their home.

Vicky who initially showed me the property and arranged subsequent viewings, was really helpful when I was unsure how to proceed. Luke and Phil were always available when I called with questions, and their system of solicitor and surveyor suggestions (in a range of fees for services) was really helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is planning to buy or sell a property in the Nantwich area.
