3rd Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

Everyone was very professional, helpful and friendly throughout the process, and the level of customer service was excellent.<br><br>A special mention to Darren, who was always there to help and went above and beyond whenever things needed to be rearranged or moved around. He was very responsive and made the whole experience much easier.<br><br>I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and helpful estate agent. Great service from start to finish!

2nd Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)I could not be happier with Johns & Co, and in particular Anthony Norton and Rhiannon Howard! They made what can often be a very stressful process so much easier. They were incredibly responsive throughout, even while on annual leave, and consistently went above and beyond to keep things moving. It felt like they were doing the job of my solicitor as well!<br>Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to meet Rhiannon in person when I collected the keys to my flat, as she was in a meeting, but she truly deserves special recognition for all of her hard work and support.<br>As a first-time buyer, I found the whole process incredibly stressful and frustrating at times, but Anthony and Rhiannon were there every step of the way, providing reassurance and chasing things whenever needed.<br>I'm now officially four weeks into my new home, and I couldn't be more grateful. A huge thank you to everyone at Johns & Co, especially Anthony and Rhiannon. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property.

Pamela is our main contact, very professional, communicative, knowledgeable and on top of the whole process - would highly recommend her as an agent. She showed us the property and explained everything in depth and clearly. She’s also very responsive on WhatsApp to all of our questions, which has been very very helpful. Overall, would recommend Fraser & Co Shoreditch, and ask for Pamela if you can!

Athena at property Inc especially stands out, she is prospective, clear and concise knows what she’s doing and has demonstrated a clear ability to charge of stressful situations while being able to deliver reassurance to us as vendors.<br><br>Whenever an issue has arisen, repair and maintenance or be it chasing documents or whatever it may be, Athena is quick to act and has always made us feel like a priority even with her work load, charming and a true credit to property inc, she is the only person I wish to use for any further acquisitions in the future. 10/10 stars.
