5th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)Disappointing experience. We unfortunately entered the market just as the economy was crashing into recession. However we chose Churchill because of their long standing local presence and thought they would provide an excellent service. We found them old fashioned and disjointed e.g. no 360 degrees online presentation of our house, we had to point out out that the published photos were originally missing a room, they was a complete lack of diversity in their agents (of which we had to deal with 3 different men although the area manager had said we would only be dealing with him) the different agents didn’t appear to have pre-read the information we had provided about our house before the viewings and there was a general lack of ongoing communication. In the end we only had two viewings before we ended the contract after 4 weeks.

So much so, that we also had Gareth sell our house recently. His honesty, professionalism and commitment is on a different level. One of the best selling experiences that I've had.

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I am a 44 years old an a Gas Safe Engineer. I have been working in maintenance since 1996. Never seen a worse maintenance company than Strettons. I have no words to describe how we the residents of Onslow Parade N14 5JN feel. Come and judge for yourself before considering to buy or rent a property where this company is involved. Now obviously they are going to reply that they do as much as possible etc . Which is rubbish! We are their customer and we are the people entitled to give them a honest good or bad review. Don't listen to they answers

Really appreciate the kindness and patience throughout the process . I would 100% recommend this estate agent as it is rare to find excellent customer service
13th Mar 2026 (23 weeks ago)We went to view a few properties and had the pleasure of meeting Kriztina. She was amazing—very kind, sincere, and extremely knowledgeable about her work. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable from the start. Kriztina explained everything clearly and in detail, and she patiently answered every question we asked. We met her a few times during our search, and each time she was just as welcoming and helpful. As I am dyslexic, I especially appreciated how patient and understanding she was with me. It meant a lot and made the whole experience much easier. Although I am no longer looking for a property, I would like to wish her all the very best for the future. If I ever need help with finding a property again, she will be the first person I contact. Thank you very much for all your help. Mohammad

17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)We didn't end up going ahead with our sale in the end - some family timing meant it wasn't the right moment for us - but I wanted to leave a review anyway because Tom was excellent throughout and I wouldn't hesitate to use him when we do sell.<br><br>He came across as genuinely thorough from the first meeting, not just a sales pitch. He talked us through the marketing price versus what we might actually achieve, was clear about how the launch and pre-launch process works, and didn't try to rush us into anything. When we told him our circumstances had changed, he was completely understanding and no pressure about it, which honestly says a lot about how he'd handle things once you're actually on the market too.<br><br>If you're weighing up agents in the Edmonton area, I'd put him on your shortlist. Thorough, straightforward, no hard sell.

12th Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)During my viewing with Mr Soobh, I felt uncomfortable due to comments about my choice of clothing and inappropriate remarks regarding bedroom size. The whole experience felt unprofessional. I was referred by a neighbour who secured a property late last year, so I expected better, especially given the type of properties involved. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t advise any woman to attend a viewing alone.
13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)Ivy & Stone seem like a lovely estate agent and I really like the properties they have available. My only feedback would be regarding the website, as I personally find it quite difficult to navigate and a little unclear in places. It can sometimes feel a bit all over the place when trying to find particular information. I think a slightly simpler and more organised layout would make such a difference and make the overall experience much easier for potential tenants/buyers. Just some friendly constructive feedback as everything else seems great :)

Communication was excellent, and they kept me updated every step of the way. They made everything straightforward and stress-free, and I really appreciated their efficiency and attention to detail. 14th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)The staff was always arranging viewings last minute and asking us to do the viewings twice on a late Saturday afternoon nas Sunday evening. There waa no mobile contact number to call easily. There was no extra effort to try amd sell the house beyond routine advertising. Once I withdrew the house from the market the manager who was calling me every daybto put the hous on the market did not even call or email me back personally. Just got a generic email from their parent company. Felt the whole approach was very impersonal.We know from other agents that our road is sought after and they get queries.. But Bairstowe did not seem to have much idea about what made our house and street an attractive prospect.
