10th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

Throughout the visit, he demonstrated exceptional professionalism, extensive market knowledge, and a clear understanding of the local property market.<br>His advice was insightful and easy to understand, and the marketing strategy he presented was particularly impressive well thought out, detailed, and tailored to maximise the property's potential. The valuation and assessment exceeded my expectations and gave me complete confidence in his expertise.<br>I would not hesitate to use Scott again when I come to list my property and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and proactive estate agent in Hayes.

From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the sale of my flat was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine commitment. A special mention has to go to Nick, who truly went above and beyond at every stage of the process. He was proactive, responsive, and always willing to take the time to explain things clearly and keep me updated. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his dedication made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring.

Although following excellent marketing I received a very quick offer, the sale ultimately took seven months due to the complexities of a probate and leasehold transaction. Throughout what was often an emotional, stressful and frustrating experience, the professionalism, communication, care and support shown by Scott and his team was absolutely exemplary. I was kept regularly updated at every stage, and when communication from solicitors was lacking, the team proactively chased matters and dealt directly with them on my behalf to keep the process moving. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they genuinely went above and beyond from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for their patience, dedication and truly outstanding service during a very difficult time. I would recommend Benjamin Stevens without hesitation to anyone looking for an estate agent who is transparent and truly cares about their clients

30th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)I was a tenant with Chas Lowe over the last 10 years, having only just recently moved from East Barnet. The landlord-tenant experience has been excellent throughout. All issues or concerns, whether small or large, were dealt with promptly and with understanding. Basic but fundamentally important issues like an annual gas safety check happened seamlessly and, similarly, when there was an electrical concern, with a faulty plug socket, for example, this was dealt with timeously and professionally. Roger was the key agent during the tenancy and he deserves enormous praise for his approachable, honest and helpful communication at all points. The tenancy was in a block of flats managed by Chas Lowe and, again, when issues arose these were always attended to promptly. In fact, on one ocassion, the security light bulb was replaced within two hours of reporting it - thanks, Lorna! Five stars from me all around.

Richard gave clear guidance on pricing and communication was consistent and reassuring throughout the process—I was always kept up to date, and any questions I had were answered quickly. Hausman and Holmes were recommended to me and I’m glad they were, what stood out to me was how they managed the entire process with a calm confidence during and after completion. His explanation of the service and the people at Thomas James Estate Agents was open, honest, and reassuring, which is what ultimately led us to choose them over other agents in the area. The sales process took four and a half months from engagement to completion, and throughout that time we were kept fully informed via a WhatsApp group set up specifically for our property. This made communication incredibly easy, allowing us to ask and answer questions quickly, and ensured the team remained proactive in driving the sale through to completion. We were extremely happy with the seamless process and the genuine care and attention shown by the team—Tom, James, Claire, and Elliot (with special mention to Elliot) at Thomas James Estate Agents. We cannot recommend them highly enough; you would be foolish not to consider them.
