24th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)I recently sold my house with William H Brown in Horsforth, a very professional service from enquiring about listing, through marketing, viewings and handling the sale. Abbie and the team were fantastic and miles ahead of other branches in the area imo. Highly recommend
5th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)I would recommend everyone to avoid this ‘letting agency’. At the end of my tenancy, the communication was extremely poor, they did not inform the landlord of key information and threatened me with deductions from my deposit. It took over a month to receive any information about the deposit (despite chasing) and when I finally received a response, the deductions were laughable. A £200 cleaning fee despite the property being in a better state than when I moved in. A charge for late return of keys despite no incoming tenants and the extra days being agreed by the landlord. I questioned this and asked for evidence of cleaning invoices etc; I never got a response. I had to open a dispute with the DPS to get my money back, funnily enough they managed to respond to that. Overall a terrible and hugely stressful experience which I did not appreciate when moving house.

It can be such a stressful time but for us we were kept informed throughout the process and nothing was too much trouble. Emma and the team were always there at the end of the phone to answer any questions or update us with any news. Thank you all

They tell you what should be done, tell you when and how it will be done and deliver. They made the whole experience stress-free, were 100% professional, have an outstanding knowledge of the local property market business with the added bonus of amazing value for money and you can't ask for more than that. 20th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)Our house sold to the first viewers within the first week of being marketed so we've only had limited contact with the Estate agents so far but everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. They had great knowledge of the house and the area and were able to provide the buyers with lots of useful information about the house when they came for the viewing. They've been very responsive in getting things moving quickly. Very pleased with the service we've received so far.

I wouldn’t have even viewed the apartment I ended up buying if she hadn’t taken the time to really listen to what I was looking for and suggest it. It turned out to be exactly the right place for me. I particularly appreciated her kindness, responsiveness and communication throughout the process. She was always helpful, kept things moving smoothly and made what could have been a stressful experience feel much easier. Her recommendations for solicitors and mortgage brokers were excellent, and everything worked together remarkably well as a result. Thank you, Jess, for all your support and guidance. It has made a real difference.

21st Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)They persuaded me to sell with them after massively marking up my home. This meant we were viewing properties out of our reach and that in a matter of weeks they asked for a £20k drop to our asking price. This meant we could not move on as hoped so we had to withdraw. Basically I lost £600 in advertising and cancellation fees. If I’d had an accurate valuation in the first place I would never have put it on the market.
