17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

James and the team were very communicative, knowledgeable about the properties and accomodating. Once I picked the house, I was assigned with Julie who was looking after the purchase for us and she was absolutely amazing chasing everything on all sides of the chain and giving us regular updates. I would strongly recommend Cubitt and West to both buyers and sellers based on my experience. Thank you guys.
20th Feb 2026 (26 days ago)I cannot recommend this estate agency highly enough. From start to finish, they have gone above and beyond what I could ever have expected. In particular, Amelie Budd, but also Lloyd and Simon have been exceptional. Their professionalism was outstanding, but what truly set them apart was their kindness and compassion. During what can often be a stressful and emotional process, they treated me with genuine care, patience and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and they consistently went the extra mile to ensure everything was handled smoothly. Their communication was clear, prompt and reassuring throughout, and I always felt supported and respected. It is rare to find a team that combines efficiency with such a human, empathetic approach. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent who truly puts their clients first.

3rd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Bell and Blake were the only one of four agents we contacted who valued the property realistically. Their local knowledge was invaluable in our situation (as we live elsewhere and were selling for an elderly relative). I am very glad that we were not lured by one of the various rival firms offering inflated valuations to get us on board- the house would almost certainly still be on the market and causing us great anxiety.

As a support worker assisting my clients in securing a property, it was important that the process was smooth and well-communicated, and Danielle was incredibly helpful throughout. She responded to our emails very quickly, kept us updated at every stage, and assisted with everything to a very high standard. Her professionalism and willingness to help made the whole experience much easier for both myself and my clients. I would highly recommend Henry Adams Lettings in Emsworth, and especially Danielle, for their outstanding support and service.

From an explanation of the tasks, transparency of pricing, review and feedback to ensure all parties were up-to-date with the status of the sale, advice in negotiation, help during the handover process, post sale touch base to ensure everything was good. There were many days when I thought this would be utterly impossible! The persistence of Paul to get it over the line was so reassuring. I am just so grateful to have chosen a renowned national chain with their expert local knowledge to introduce a wide ranging clientele from all over the country. My new life is now assured thanks to the team for which I am eternally grateful.

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Having spent 5 months on the market with another estate agent with no interest in our house, Sophie and her team then sold it in less than a week! We then proceeded smoothly to completion just over 3 months later. If you want to sell your house in Chichester, look no further than White and Brooks.

Right from the start, she was so professional and we felt she had a very sound and realistic take on the housing market rather than trying to put the house on at the highest possible price. Right through the selling process, she was always really friendly, helpful and profressional, as were the KF team of ladies doing the viewings. Many thanks to you all for all your sterling work!

26th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)I recently rented out a property through Bernards. The lady I dealt with, Amber, made the process so easy. It makes me wonder why other agents make it so hard. One other small but crucial point. Amber found tenants and had them installed in record time. Other agents I'm also dealing with could learn a point or two there. Confidence and helpful attitude no doubt encouraged the prospective tenants to proceed. If you're looking for a company to handle property rental, I unreservedly recommend Bernards in Havant. I will be using them again without hesitation.
