When it looked like we were going to loose the propoerty we fell in love with Flora stepped in with calm professionalism and remarkable determination and helped guide us into securing it. She was great at chasing solicitors, liaising with all parties, and keeping us informed every step of the way.<br><br>Flora genuinely cared about getting us into our home, not just closing a deal. Thanks to her persistence and creativity in problem-solving, we exchanged and completed without losing the property we'd fallen in love with. We truly couldn't have done it without her and the team at Winkworth.<br><br>If you want an agent who will fight your corner and go the extra mile — look no further. Five stars, without hesitation.

30th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)The sale of my flat was a complicated one as the EWS cladding rating changed mid way through the process. This had a significant impact on lending options available for the buyers. At one point the sale was off but Fraser Pollok did an incredible and very professional job in getting the transaction back on track and introduced the buyers to a mortgage broker who managed to secure funding. Stirling Ackroyd were brilliant throughout and the sale most definitely wouldn’t have happened without their excellent input and relentless effort. Bravo !!

Nothing was ever too much, he was contactable through WhatsApp at any time (even when he was on holiday) and went above and beyond. When we are looking again in the future, they will be the first I call.

Additionally they are not respecting my contract terms and trying to overcharge me for the end of the tenancy. I have had to hire lawyers to avoid them abusing other more vulnerable tenants

27th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Great experience renting through Regent. Any faults with the property are quickly remediated, and the agency is very responsive to queries in general. Renewal of my tenancy was handled quickly and professionally by my agent James. Looking forward to a continued tenancy!

This company do not vet their landlords or care for tenants welfare, I’d strongly advise you steer clear.<br><br>They lumbered me with a psychotic landlord, and Instead of dealing with their own dispute with her, left me to deal with an ugly situation they caused in the first place.<br><br>I had to move out just to get away from an unhinged landlord who was constantly harassing me, and Portico didn't step in to help me with any of it. The episode caused me and my family untold distress and cost me a fortune.<br><br>I spoke to the so-called 'manager' about it and all he cared about was grabbing a tidy profit from the situation. Even the staff said the landlord was 'trouble' but i'm the one that took the hit.<br><br>Bad people, bad company, don't grace them with your custom, save yourself and go elsewhere.

27th Jan 2026 (24 weeks ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

It ended up being a challenging transaction (for reasons beyond their control) and they did a great job of following up issues and pushing for the sale to complete in a timely manner. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

In the starting they took care of everything but when they rented out the property they don't even bother about the problem which tenants are facing in the property. Not going to recommend at all. They also deduct our deposit without giving us a single proof. And they refund our rest of the deposit after 2 months and long arguments. The service for entire year was awful.

After numerous flat viewings with different agents, it was very refreshing to interact with someone who really took the time to understand what I was looking for. Leon was extremely professional and went above and beyond. He followed up with me to make sure I got all the information I needed and helped clarify a couple of points with the owner.
