I would say it was Tabby who managed to get me the keys a little earlier! Defo recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy as well as sell!

Though the process haa been long and stressful due to circumstances beyond control of tge estate agent, they have been great in support. Specifically Charlie M, who has been supporting the whole process, always quick to respond, understanding, helpful amd supportive throughout. Customer service really does make all the difference when your anxious, stresses and worried. Charlie definitely helped ease that for me ??????
2nd May 2026 (7 days ago)Excellent real estate agency. We're renting an apartment, and all issues are resolved quickly. They're very customer-focused and genuinely friendly. Overall, I don't think I've been as satisfied with a real estate agency in a long time. I definitely recommend them!

I am very disappointed and frustrated. If you can’t manage the appointment then you should not run the company and should not waste other people’s time. Its really shame on your company

Megan and Libby and team consistently go above and beyond, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. It’s rare to find a team that genuinely delivers such a high standard of customer service time and time again. Their knowledge, efficiency, and friendly approach really set them apart. I’ll definitely continue using them in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional service. They were responsive, professional, and made everything feel much less stressful. I’d happily use them again and recommend them to anyone moving into a new place ??????

When problems accured as we were in a chain alison and rebecca always found a solution right to the completion so thank you both so much xx
25th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Martin and co manage the property next door to mine which is noisy and overcrowded- noise from the house including slamming doors, shouting and taxis coming and going at all hours upsets both myself and other neighbours on the street. I have complained to Martin and co numerous times but they have failed to deal with the issue.- 21st Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)No issues at all. Kept me well informed throughout the process and kept things moving along. Dealt with everything they needed to in a timely manner and chased when it was needed.

Paul Vincent was very quick to respond to calls and emails, and provided me with all the information I asked for. Josh was also great for showing me around the property whenever I requested it and for giving me information during the viewing, while allowing me the freedom to browse as long as I needed.

Moving from Cornwall to York, I trusted them not to take advantage of me, given that I couldn’t see the property in person before renting it. What I was greeted by was scarcely believable, as you can see from the photos. They routinely ignored me when I asked to have things fixed, and lied to me when I asked them to contact the landlord, stating they had contacted them when they hadn’t. Use Ashtons instead. They were exemplary when I used them instead. My old landlord has even left Bridgfords to take his business to Ashtons as well. Pathetic, shameless company. Avoid.- 31st Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)"Try to Avoid" They are the rudest and unprofessional letting company i have ever seen. And they hide lot of hidden charges which we wont know until we take the contract

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Most people would seek valuations from multiple estate agents but I decided this was not needed, Charters provided everything I needed. House moving is a stressful process and a professional and friendly estate agent makes the process easier.

Through no fault of hers, our buying process was not easy and took longer than expected, but Paisley helped keep us calm and informed every step of the way.
