13th Mar 2026 (5 days ago)If I could give 0 stars, I would. My partner and I have unfortunately rented through Knights for the past three years and the experience has been extremely frustrating. Firstly, whenever we reported issues with the property, it was very difficult to reach someone who could actually provide a solution. We constantly had to chase them with follow-up calls and emails, even for simple issues such as the blinds not working. Basic maintenance requests took far longer than they should have because communication from the team was poor. The most frustrating part, however, has been dealing with the lettings team regarding our deposit. We moved out of the property almost 11 weeks ago and still have not received it back. The lettings team never contacted either myself or my partner with an update about the deposit, so we had to reach out to them ourselves. We have called and emailed more than seven times just to get an update, and each time we receive the same responses: “We don’t know,” “I don’t deal with deposits,” or “We will get back to you.” Because of the lack of progress, we raised a dispute directly with the TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme), and the agents were given a deadline to respond. Instead of communicating with us once the dispute had been confirmed, they waited until the deadline to raise any issues. As a result, we are still waiting for our deposit nearly three months after moving out. Overall, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering renting through this company think twice. In our experience, they are not proactive, they repeatedly make excuses for unresolved issues, and unless you constantly chase them, almost daily, they will simply delay matters, including returning your deposit.

The whole team works very well together and rallies round to sort any queries, but most of our dealings were with Emily and Tina who were both excellent throughout the whole process.

From the first meeting with Jason his honesty and knowledge of the property market were outstanding and that was the reason I chose Connells to market our property. Throughout the sale Jason and his team have excelled, weekly updates on progress and loads of chasing all parties from Jason to ensure the sale stayed on track. Unfortunately we did have a couple of issues along the way but these were resolved professionally each time leading to completion last week.

We had a positive experience with good communication from Poppy, India and Tiffany especially when there were delays at the top of the chain. They never made me feel like I was bothering them and I did call a lot.- 12th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)My wife and I are delighted with the service we received from Newton Fallowell in Peterborough when we were buying a property in PE4 (completed today). Nothing was too much trouble for Ellie and her colleagues - multiple visits to the property, arranging access for surveys, queries about keys, key codes and many other things, even down to the swift removal of the SOLD board. If we ever find ourselves buying another property in this area, Newton Fallowell is the first place we'll look.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. Very Efficient Adam, Tracey and the .rest on the team in keeping you upto date... Would recommend..

The whole Aspire team were very friendly, very approachable and advice asked for by us and given freely by them. Despite a slow market we eventually both bought and sold within two days.

Buying a home can be stressful at the best of times, but the team kept everything moving smoothly and were always easy to deal with. A big shoutout to Kerry Thomas, who's been fantastic throughout. She was open and transparent throughout the whole process, kept me updated without me ever needing to chase, and was always happy to answer any questions. It's made the whole thing feel a lot less daunting. If you’re buying or selling, I’d definitely recommend HoldenCopley.
4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)Advertised at £400K… but then the description says £400,000–£450,000 (Guide Price). So which is it? Feels more like clickbait than a real listing. Estate agents, honesty is the best policy — stop playing games with numbers! Edit - Thanks for the explanation. I understand that property portals only allow a single headline price, but that’s exactly why choosing £400k as the headline when the guide price actually runs up to £445k can feel misleading to buyers browsing listings. Most people filter searches based on the headline figure, so naturally it creates the expectation that £400k is somewhere near the realistic price point. Including the range in the description is helpful, but the headline price is still what draws people in and shapes the initial expectation. And just to clarify — leaving a review doesn’t require someone to have made a formal enquiry. Many buyers are simply browsing the market and commenting on how listings appear from a buyer’s perspective. If anything, that kind of feedback is useful because it reflects exactly how potential buyers first see the listing.
3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)They say bad news travels fast but I believe good news should travel even faster, whilst my buying journey is just in its early stages, the experience I have had to date has been extrenely genuinely . My initial phone call was answered by Jack, and having coming from a sales background I find myself spotting a 'sales process' a mile off, which usually shows itself in the form of an over bearing and quite frankly off putting interaction that a lot of companies operate with. This is not the case for this company. Being able to actually have a genuine conversation with a considered person who's main concern was to find out more information so he could simply help me better. Sincere and refreshing. Whilst we havent found 'the one' yet. I have no doubt in the future we certainly will. Thank you Jack and Akeman
