9th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)I would strongly advise against using this agency. We had an offer accepted by a landlord and were sent the contract and all payment details late Friday afternoon. Interestingly, they don’t take holding deposits (claiming they "don't operate that way"), yet they expected us to sign and transfer a very large sum of money immediately without having our questions answered. By Monday morning, we had cleared all queries, completed references, and signed the contract. After being told to wait for the landlord's "green light" for several hours while we were ready to pay, we were suddenly told the landlord had accepted another identical offer. The excuse given was that the "market is competitive," which is a poor cover for unprofessionalism. They wasted our time, energy, and personal data. Avoid if you want a transparent or reliable process.

9th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)AVOID! both as a tenant and as a landlord. I'm a tenant in a property under their portfolio, I'm facing severe lack of communication and total lack of integrity. I'm in the unfortunate situation of desperately needing to move out early due to personal health reasons. I can't move out until Maskells finds a replacement tenant. Their approach has been to try and profit from the situation, which I personally find morally wrong. Rather than trying to replace me, they are putting an out of the market price to try and squeeze extra pounds of commission without any risk, as the property is not vacant. Communication related to the process has also been lacking and not transparent. Tenants: you are better off with some other agencies. Landlords: find someone with integrity to manage your properties.
31st Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had to keep chasing them . Over valued it by 50,000 then wanted me to keep dropping. No real concrete feed back . Very miss leading about offers instead of waiting for offers officially tell you one is been made to never materialize.

Heartfelt thanks go to Victoria Peters and Laurence Lai for their outstanding professionalism and patient guidance throughout the process of selling my Notting Hill apartment. A friend who has known Laurence for many years first put me in touch with Youhome and from my very first meeting I felt reassured I was in very experienced and knowledgable hands. That impression never wavered. Not only was the marketing of my apartment very professionally done, but throughout the conveyancing process both Laurence and Victoria were extremely helpful, calm, responsive and kind with Victoria always on hand to liaise with the buyer, smoothing the whole process considerably.
25th Feb 2020 (6 years ago)My first piece of advice to anyone renting with dendrow is do not expect them to uphold their end of the tenancy agreement. You will regularly be inundated with workers and inspections. On several occasions during my tenancy this happened without notice and without a real explanation of what was happening. As most of my housemates worked throughout the day, this did not prove to be much of an issue but please do keep note of these instances as when you come to vacating the property you will 100% need to open an official dispute. Dendrow attempted to decimate our deposit via ludicrous charges that were put through their own cleaning company. The flat was rented out in a pretty run down condition and returned in a better state but £700 for cleaning was deducted from our deposit. When we moved in there were broken pieces of furniture, broken fixtures - again not unusual for London but never before have I had an attempt of £1800 deposit deductions for the pleasure. The real stickler was a charge of almost £1000 for a carpet replacement for moth damage under a bed. When we opened this as an official dispute it turned out the invoice Dendrow had used and evidence of pest treatment was over 5 years old and falsified in terms of dimensions of the room in question. Perhaps an oversight but likely an attempt to plunder money from tenants. Some of the charges were laughable including £72 for the removal of a sign the size of a piece of A5 paper. (I appreciate this is a breach but an individual call out charge and commercial waste charge for something that could fit in the bins in the building seems disproportionate). The independent MyDeposit review was a life saver and I cannot thank them enough for protecting us from these dubious attempts to deduct from Dendrow. I urge you to note down times where they have broken the tenancy agreement as well as you will likely be able to win back vast swathes of the money. They will take a threatening tone with you but remember this is your own money. Better still avoid them like the plague but if you have already entered into a tenancy with them, please be vigilant.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!
10th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)Fantastic letting agency, specialising in very special homes along the river - really great service from beginning to end with Leanna, going above and beyond over the Christmas break (despite the agency being closed!) to help us get through the referencing process and get moved in within a couple of weeks. Thank you so much, highly recommended (and I’ve met with a lot of lettings agents and had some very mixed experiences so that doesn’t come lightly!).
8th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)My experience of Guru’s sales team is good. However, the property management team is very rude and would not help the tenants solve the problems after you rent the property. They only asked the tenants for money.

On meeting Hani and Elizabeth, we were immediately impressed with their knowledge of the local market and their genuine warmth, friendliness and down to earth approach. Communication was great throughout, with no unnecessary chasing , as is often the case with other agents. The photo brochure prepared certainly showed our property to its best advantage. All viewings were accompanied by Elizabeth or Hani, who were always punctual. All in all, we received a first class service, and would recommend without hesitation to anyone selling a property in the area.

They made sure to learn as much as possible about area, viewings were well planned and we had only serious buyers through the door. When it came to offers times, we were lucky to have multiple offers and Maison team were amazing at directing us to buyer that was best fit. Support through whole process was amazing with constant status update all they way up to completion and after! Fantastic team and we will df be using them for our future sales x

We found the agency’s conduct throughout the transaction to be deeply unprofessional. Key information was withheld, communication was evasive, and there appeared to be no regard for transparency or ethical standards. Rather than acting as honest brokers, they consistently acted in ways that undermined trust and fairness. We are now dealing with the legal and financial consequences of this experience — and I would strongly advise others to be extremely wary.

After a disastrous start with another estate agent which almost lost me the house I really wanted to buy, I instructed Century 21 and Jason pulled everything together. Jason got my property sold very quickly in an urgent situation working late into the night to get my property listed and negotiated my purchase so that everything was held together, despite various difficulties along the way, and I got my dream home. He is extremely proactive and responds quickly to messages seven days a week and outside normal working hours. I cannot thank him enough for his hard work, and dedication in getting my sale and purchase over the line. He is truly passionate about his work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Jack was so patient with all the delays, chased the solicitors and buyers when we were losing the will, and kept us sane. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without him. Really appreciate everything!

Jonathan was extremely helpful and showed a lot of patience, while all the time providing a professional service. Liaising and encouraging the solicitors, who weren't the most communicative, in order to keep the process moving. Going above and beyond in what proved to be be a protracted and difficult house sale.
