30th Jan 2020 (6 years ago)Martyn was very helpful upon my move in and viewing. However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.
13th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)Ignoring all issues, at once we had blocked drains, washing machine, drier, smoke alarm, freezer, lights tumble drier problems. None of the above were working, took them 8 months to sort some out and some still left behind. Rent is up by 6.5% every year and no service provided. Highly recommend not to use their services
1st Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We have had dealings with Woodleys Estate Agents over a number of years both selling and buying of properties, as well as renting. The service, communication and advice they have always given us has been excellent. In particular Mark, Mike and Gareth who were totally on top of negotiations and efficient in deputising for each other when required. All In all this company and its employees acted both professionally and honest with us at all times. They were a pleasure to work with and we can 100% recommend them. In addition we rented a property out through Woodleys with Aidan representing us, who likewise had very high professional standards and guided us through the whole process from advertising to selecting a tenant. Again we recommend this side of the business too. Mark, Mike, Gareth and Aiden are a credit to Woodleys and clearly showed integrity and professionalism throughout our dealings with them, but we also had a good many funny moments and laughter en route. Thank you all Jayne, Lucia, Suzie and Chester
16th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)We cannot recommend Hamptons at Henley-on-Thames highly enough. Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

11th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)A few days ago, I visited a rental property and had a friendly conversation with Louise Pasker, the Lettings & Valuations Manager. We explored the house and talked about various topics. She promised to send my partner and I the necessary form, but she never did. My partner and I spoke more about the property the following day to weigh the pros and cons of the property. We were hesitant to commit to a home without thorough consideration. After really thinking it through and not just taking the property to have a home. Not one we didn’t find suited. It is unfortunate that Louise Pasker failed to provide the requested paperwork (if we were interested which last she heard we possibly interested) and did not respond to my partner’s email the day after. It is possible that she is experiencing annoyance, illness, or is part-time. In the event of illness, emails should be passed over to another colleague. If she is part-time, emails should also be passed over too. Regardless of her circumstances, it is unprofessional to: 1. Not reply to an email (in the email my partner also asked if they’re any other properties they have) 2. To not even send the forms she said she’d do Also, my partner sent another email today. Asking if Louise had seen the last email. Had no reply. It is very unprofessional to ignore someone’s emails that is asking questions.

17th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Be very careful buying a property through these sharks. They took us right up to exchange and then the seller suddenly demanded £10,000 more for the property or he would pull out. We refused to be bullied like this, so ended up losing a large amount of money as a result of wasted searches and solicitor’s fees. We had the searches done promptly and did everything in our power to proceed with the sale in a timely manner, and they still treated us in an absolutely disgusting way and acted with zero integrity. Hillier and Wilson fully sided with the seller and fully supported him in attempting to rip us off, they didn’t even offer us an apology.

6th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Overall very disappointed, didn't like James, didn't really listen to us did things his way. When he got a sniff of a buyer he stuck with them, we had complications with our buyer but he was reluctant to see other potential buyers. When we did get a buyer we seemed to do all the work heard very nothing from Whiteknights, we weren't even told James had left the company. Very little contact from Whiteknights throughout the entire process.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!

After a disastrous start with another estate agent which almost lost me the house I really wanted to buy, I instructed Century 21 and Jason pulled everything together. Jason got my property sold very quickly in an urgent situation working late into the night to get my property listed and negotiated my purchase so that everything was held together, despite various difficulties along the way, and I got my dream home. He is extremely proactive and responds quickly to messages seven days a week and outside normal working hours. I cannot thank him enough for his hard work, and dedication in getting my sale and purchase over the line. He is truly passionate about his work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

30th Dec 2025 (11 weeks ago)As a landlord or tenant, I would highly recommend Property Foundations Group (PFG for short). I have dealt with Kristen, Adam and Paul, all good people with their morals in the right places, something that is rare in the world of property investment. I found PFG to be very professional and thorough in the way they do things, keeping the interests of tenants and landlords great at all times, and they are always on top of the safety compliance requirements that do often change. They seem to know how to keep their cool and coherence, which is a big plus in such a chaotic industry as property letting. My rental was a flat, but I also observed that their Room Lets have good systems in place for communal areas being cleaned by cleaning contractors, something I noticed when I was meeting a friend at one of their other properties. More importantly this means that tenants who rent rooms from PFG don’t have to argue who is going to wash up, clean, vacuum, and so on, and landlords that want to let out their properties as rooms don’t have to get involved in as much headache like this. They also have a good maintenance booking system for anything that goes wrong. Fortunately in my case I didn’t have to use it, but I did a test run (which I later cancelled) just to see how well it worked. I always worry that something could go wrong and the landlord is on holiday (or something like that), but when renting through PFG, there really is no need to be concerned about this, as they have access to contractors around the clock. Safety is utmost priority. PFG were really on top of my safety: During my mid-tenancy, the Annual Gas Safety Check was due. I wasn’t really keeping a very good track of my diary at the time, so when it came to this VITAL day, I was unintentionally unavailable. Paul went above and beyond his call and duty to make sure the inspection was carried out on time, by going out of his way to reach me successfully (without any intrusion). Now this might, to some readers, seem a bit trivial, but actually it really isn’t, because Gas Safety Checks are often carried out EXACTLY 1 year after a boiler installations/upgrades/repairs, and there are parts in boilers that only last 366-400 days so that they stop working just after the warrantee period expires. In otherwords, had it not been for the systems PFG put in place, the inspection could have lapsed over that 366 day boundary, putting me in a potential spot of danger. It’s important for readers to diarise their safety inspection dates to avoid the same sort of thing happening. The half-yearly inspection was also all-fine, safety wise, as well. Jenny asked me whether I was happy for her to take photos of the smoke alarms (that are in every room) to show to their Maintenance Team just to make sure there weren’t any issues, and it was all fine. All in all, very good.
