16th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Absolutely disgraceful service and completely unprofessional. I arranged a room viewing in Gloucester on Monday for Saturday at 11:30am. They refused to do video viewings or even send videos of the property and insisted I travel in person from Oxford. I spent money booking train tickets and was already on the train Saturday morning when they suddenly called to cancel the viewing. Their excuse was that the tenant in that particular room was sick. However, they had already told me there were multiple rooms available, so there was absolutely no reason the other rooms could not have been shown. Then they started saying they were supposed to give notice to other tenants, something they clearly failed to do because of their own incompetence. This company wasted my time, money, and an entire day because they cannot organise basic communication properly. Professionalism is nonexistent. Avoid these people completely if you value your time or expect any level of reliability.

26th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Dealing with Symonds and Sampson (particularly Matt) was a pleasure. Everyone in the office were so helpful in guiding us through the process and being very patient when it came to viewing properties. Never did we feel 'under pressure". In our case, we were particularly drawn to the video of our property which was not the usual slide show of the images we had already seen, but a proper walk around video which gave more detail and showed us more than the images. Thank you to all at Symonds and Sampson in Beaminster and particularly Matthew.

26th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)As Palmer Snell is part of a larger network, they had to deal with a central office which delayed thing at times. All the people, i dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the photography as all the staging was left to me and nothing was arranged to make it look better.

Myself and partner moved to Ilfracombe at the drop of a hat and Nicola helped us find, view and secure a property within a week, which is impressive!<br><br>Throughout the entire process, she was proactive, professional, and the communication was excellent - she provided regular updates and was always available to answer any questions we had.<br><br>Her dedication and efficiency made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. 27th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)Female answered the phone, advised I would like to view a house, and gave the address asked me the price and I thought it was a certain price but informed me I was wrong and they did not have a house for sale of that price. As I haven't sold my own house I am not allowed to view house for sale. Sounded cross and didn't ask me any details. I have a house in Cornwall with sea views and don't require a mortgage. This estate agency does not appear to want to sell houses- 6th Jul 2026 (1 day ago)Martin & Co valued our property at 5% more than others indicated they expected to sell the property and we had a buyer at the asking price in just over a week. Absolutely first class!

We had maximum support , never lied too, they were completely honest. We made friends with the team. We have to add , that although all the team worked for us , that the lovely Craig , hucclecote office was an absolute star ?. He updated us on our purchase most days, answering all our questions , and gave support all through our worries , he went above and beyond , an asset to the company

However, the team kept us informed of progress and were actively chasing news from the chain which made things a little more tolerable for us. We were very pleased and would definitely consider using Julian Marks in any future sale.

2nd May 2026 (9 weeks ago)We have sold two houses now through Fulfords Plymstock. Due to issues with our solicitor the latest sale was very stressful but Ian's years of experience shone through and he always put us at ease whilst pushing the sale along. The whole team is welcoming and friendly and always have a smile on their faces. If you are selling a house in the Plymstock area we highly recommend using Ian and the team.
