The manager David gave us excellent advice on how best to present our house to market and was confident in his valuation. Marketing was professionally thought out and presented and Cameron worked really hard taking viewers round and always gave us swift feedback after every viewing. We had a choice of offers and both David and Cameron were on hand to advise and discuss the best way forward. We always felt supported.<br>We would happily recommend their services.

The communication and updates were excellent, from when we were viewing properties at the beginning and then when we had an offer accepted we received the same level of service all the way through. Ellie Glass was my primary contact although everyone in the office was involved in some way or other.<br>The sale proved to be very difficult and protracted with many obstacles.<br>Throughout the sale Ellie was constantly in touch with calls or emails and worked exceptionally hard with the chain to help the sale along. Laurence has been nothing but a 10/10 mortgage advisor. He’s helped us every step of the way, answering every question we have, no matter how small! He spoke through everything to help us clearly understand each step, really appreciated this as it’s very daunting for first time buyers. 3rd Aug 2026 (21 days ago)We have recently bought a house through Fisks. The customer service from day one was, unfortunately, very poor.<br><br>The problems started at the very first viewing, which we had booked via phone call with their office after an expression of interest through Rightmove. We turned up, and no one was there. When I called the office, I was told they had no record of the booking. A representative did eventually show up (the same person I spoke to on the original booking who claimed to have no idea), but she seemed completely uninterested in being there. Very little engagement and desire to understand our position because we “weren't ready”. Not the best experience when being sold a house. Despite this, we put our own house on the market, and sold it within 7 days.<br><br>From offer acceptance to exchange took 16 weeks, well in line with the current UK national average. Throughout that time, Fisks' behaviour, in our opinion, was not professional. We understand the need to check the progress of the chain, but their approach was to hound all of us repeatedly. Communication was entirely one-way; Fisks rarely returned our phone calls, yet towards the end they spent weeks chasing and pressuring everyone else in the chain, including our own buyer’s solicitor. At one point, they even accused us of lying about our buyer's status, despite having kept them and the seller's solicitor updated throughout. By panicking and hounding five different parties at once, they were inevitably confused and created mixed messages for themselves. It felt like their own internal mismanagement and poor communication meant they simply couldn't keep track of the facts.<br><br>We were also subjected to threats that the house would be relisted if we didn’t exchange by a certain date (never happened and screams bullying tactics). The most frustrating part was that after being put under an immense amount of pressure to rush the process, the sellers themselves weren't actually ready to complete within a timely window anyway, which felt totally unjust.<br><br>To top it all off, on our second viewing we asked Fisks if the buyer was going to leave the white goods. They followed up with an email asking us if we would like to purchase them for a fee. We politely declined. Further down the line, we were presented with the contents and fitting form from the seller's solicitor, which, in fact, did stipulate that the white goods were being left. So we instructed our solicitor to ensure that they were remaining in the property, which they did agree. Move-in day comes, no white goods, a hefty amount of money being spent not only on our part to replace, but also by the sellers to remove what should have been left as per the contents and fittings form. Overall, a very sloppy sale.<br><br>This high-pressure, unorganised approach is exactly how housing chains collapse. I am incredibly relieved to no longer have to deal with Fisks, and I cannot recommend them based on this experience.<br><br>Sadly, the property had already been on the market for 6 months with a previous agent, and it seems such a shame that Fisks have taken the commission, as it definitely wasn’t earned in this case.

Unfortunately the house I am buying is not through them but I can’t fault them at all they put up with all my emails and viewing requests!<br>I would definitely recommend and use in the future. Unfortunately, our sale was riddled with problems which held up the purchase, turning it into a stop-start process for nine frustrating months. But, Wilkie May & Tuckwood's perfect understanding of our difficulties and their highly professional help in solving them, was exemplary. We did not know that estate agents could be as good as Wilkie May & Tuckwood are. 13th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)Amazing support a first time buyer!<br>From the beginning, both Sol and Simon demonstrated their professionalism and experience. As a solo first time buyer, I had so many questions about the process and options which they provided me with detailed, unjudgmental, honest and timely responses to. The purchase took longer than expected due to so many interdependencies unrelated to Simon and Co, however they remained in contact and up to date on all aspects of the conveyancing. Even weeks after completion, Sol and Simon were still on hand to answer any queries I had. Overall, I felt incredibly supported by Simon and Co and would definitely recommend them as a great estate agent.

Always updated us with the sale and helped with the stress levels and we cannot recommend the team enough. Brilliant team and thank you so much!!!

7th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)?????<br>Having initially started my house-selling journey with another estate agent in late 2024, I accepted an offer on my property in early 2025. Around that time, I viewed a property being marketed by Right at Home and made an immediate offer. Unfortunately, that purchase wasn't meant to be, as I later lost my buyer and the chain fell apart.<br><br>Despite that, I was incredibly impressed by the service I received from Right at Home. The attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly approach of the team left a lasting impression and ultimately led me to instruct them to sell my own property.<br><br>From the outset, the marketing was excellent. The professional photographs were fantastic, and the listing showcased my home brilliantly across Rightmove, social media, and other marketing channels. They generated strong interest and arranged numerous viewings.<br>One aspect that really stood out was their communication. After every viewing, they contacted me to discuss the conversations they had with potential buyers and provide their initial thoughts. They were also meticulous in following up for detailed feedback, which kept me fully informed throughout the process. Their efforts resulted in multiple offers, and they did a fantastic job negotiating on my behalf to achieve the best possible outcome before we accepted an offer.<br><br>The support didn't stop there. Throughout the sales progression process, they worked tirelessly to keep the chain moving and regularly chased all parties involved. I particularly appreciated their honest and straightforward approach. When it came to agreeing exchange and completion dates, they weren't afraid to have frank conversations to ensure expectations were clear and everyone remained on the same page.<br><br>Interestingly, I also ended up purchasing a property through Right at Home. The viewing process was excellent, and the team were knowledgeable when discussing the property's value and providing comparisons with similar homes. This gave me confidence that I was making the right decision.<br><br>If I had one area for improvement, it would be communication around completion timescales earlier on. I had initially indicated that a completion date of late July or early August would be ideal, and it wasn't until later in the process that it became apparent completion would need to take place on 24 July. I did feel a little rushed by this, although I appreciate that coordinating multiple parties within a chain is never straightforward and often requires compromise.<br><br>Overall, every member of the team I dealt with was helpful, friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in making the process as smooth as possible. We completed on 24 July as planned, collected the keys to our new home, and were even greeted with a lovely welcome box, which was a thoughtful touch.<br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Right at Home to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. In fact, I have already recommended them to friends, one of whom has since instructed them to sell their home. If I ever move again in the future, Right at Home would be my first choice.<br><br>Thank you to everyone involved for helping make what can be a stressful process feel much easier.
