We were impressed from Dan originally visiting us to sell our house in Bradford to all staff Clare, Louise and all the team have been professional, pleasant and their expertise in the field was excellent. Clare's advise and support in navigating us through the whole process was brilliant along with all the team. On behalf of my husband and I we would like to thank you all . 7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)I am very pleased with the service I received from Amanda and the team in William H Brown Wibsey. Amanda is always very responsive and highly professional at all times. She is always very calm and understanding even when things go pear-shaped. I had the initial buyer step back quite late in the sales process and Amanda found a replacement buyer quite quickly. She was really proactive and liaised between the eventual buyer, me, and the solicitors very well (the buyer’s solicitor was a challenge as she stayed in first gear right until completion). Amanda is a star and I thoroughly recommend contacting her for property sales in the Bradford area.

25th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)Absolutely brilliant service. From valuation to going live on the market took less than two weeks. The photos and brochure were done quickly and professionally, and once I approved it, the listing was live within 30 minutes. We had multiple offers within hours! Everyone has been friendly, proactive, and easy to deal with. Communication has been spot on the whole way through. They’ve made the process smooth and stress-free — couldn’t have asked for more.

The team were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions, and they kept me updated during the process. Things moved quite smoothly overall and they were professional to deal with. Appreciate the help from the staff and the support they provided.

14th Aug 2023 (2 years ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.- 22nd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jessica at William H Brown. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Jessica was professional, approachable, and always kept me informed every step of the way. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made what can be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Her communication was excellent, she was always quick to respond, and she genuinely cared about getting the best outcome. I truly can’t recommend her enough – a real credit to the team at William H Brown!

Wasted 3 hours as we travelled from a different city. Not recommended.- 7th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)Landlord and tenants be aware. Would never use these for anything. Booked an appointment to view a property they confirmed with the landlord whilst I was on the other line. Come day and time of the appointment some aggressive man answered the phone telling me I didn't leave a contact number. It's not my job to ask what details you need from me I'm not sure what your office protocol is, your receptionist should ask for all details when booking an appointment. He proceeded by giving me an example of if I'm in Manchester and property in Bradford how am I supposed to confirm well that's an internal issue not mine. I could have booked time off work, travelled from afar and the arrogant man on the phone said we'll call you back bro and hung up ????

21st Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)Townends do not use Rightmove which is generally the go to site for people searching property. They insisted on doing bulk viewings on a weekend after being advised, and being aware themselves of the street parking issues. Communication was quite poor, I didn't expect weekly updates but I had to ask for progress and what strategy was in place to push the property which they couldn't answer. They advised and set the asking price but constantly told me that I was asking too much and should reduce!

12th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Everything fine with Estate agent, Ann Marie was fantastic, however can't leave 5 stars as the Homelet part of the process was very invasive and over the top. It felt like we were being treat like criminals and we had to prove our innocence. Apart from that, it would be 5 stars.
11th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)Very telling most of the positive reviews elsewhere are from buy to let people.I wish estate agents would just offer buy to let landlords on their books properties first before placing it on open market. It stops everyone else wasting their time with viewings and offers that will go nowhere. Staff perfectly nice but as a cash buyer offering full asking price and not being invited to increase offer when rejected, supposedly by the vendor, it's very frustrating.

Nicole always answered my questions & phoned me back when she said she would. A great experience at which could have been a stressful time.

Sarah, our estate agent, was incredible from our first viewing right down to collecting the keys. She was informative, explaining everything so that we understood it and answered all our queries really quickly. She was always on the end of the phone whenever we needed any advice or to direct us to the right person. We didn’t feel any pressure, Sarah was super relaxed and friendly, and we’re really pleased we had her to help us purchase our first home!
