21st Aug 2026 (2 days ago)Terrible agent<br><br>I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.<br><br>I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.<br><br>6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.<br><br>At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.<br><br>In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.<br><br>I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process

5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Moveup Properties regarding property maintenance and tenant treatment. Whenever an issue is reported, the agency relies entirely on unverified assertions from their contractors, immediately trying to shift blame and financial responsibility onto the tenant rather than carrying out proper, independent assessments.<br><br>Instead of treating tenants fairly and recognizing basic wear-and-tear or low-quality components, they choose to make tenants look like the bad party. They need to drastically improve their professional diligence, hold their contractors accountable, and start treating their tenants with respect.
20th Mar 2026 (22 weeks ago)Have been waiting for two weeks for a response to questions I asked re repairs and lack of property income statements, terrible service since the business was taken over by the new owners. I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.
5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)I rented a property with these quite a few years ago, it was absolutely riddled in mice like a massive infestation. At the time I was really young around 19 years old. I had 2 young children with me, one of my daughters was still crawling. I would have to clean daily so she didn’t come across any mice droppings. The kitchen was completely rotten like actually falling apart under the sink, the oven cooker was so filthy I had to clean it for 2 days before I cooked any meals, I painted the kitchen cupboard front that were all rotten and got my bond taken off me for what they said would be to replace the whole kitchen I had apparently ruined! Ha! Should’ve been replaced before I moved in it was that bad. The carpets where the radiator pipes were had been chewed from mice, I left to stay with my mum a few days as I was depressed living there and as I returned their was droppings in my actual bed. Absolutely disgusting service and I’m 28 now and have avoided ever renting anymore properties from them. Taken full advantage of a young single mum and her 2 young children, would they live in a place like that? Then have their bond taken after being left to live in an infested pit?! I don’t think so. I would avoid like the plague. Not to mention the bond they kept was never used for the kitchen and the place was rented out exactly how I left it to the next people, I actually visited them to give them the heads up and they were already planning on moving out. Funny that isn’t it. Horrible people, horrible landlord, corrupt selfish and heartless agency.

He made the stressful process manageable. Before purchasing the property my thoughts were that the process will be extremely difficult, however Nat made everything very smooth by his reliable communication which was also perfect. 11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Extremely poor experience. Belvoir were consistently slow and unresponsive, and the handling of my deposit was particularly disappointing. They waited until the very last day of the deadline to submit their proposed deductions, unnecessarily prolonging the process and leaving me waiting for my own money.<br><br>For a relatively small amount, the amount of chasing and hassle was completely unreasonable. I found the whole process dishonest and unprofessional, and I would not recommend Belvoir to any tenant.

We sold our property within days of the property going live and this was certainly helped by the property description and the 360 degree virtual reality tour. Andrew is highly professional and knowledgeable, plus he is supported by an expert team.

Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

She was prompt in responding to every enquiry and any question I had. A viewing was arranged quickly, and once I fell in love with the flat, the whole process was completed in no time. Aneesah guided me through every stage with professionalism, clarity and genuine commitment to her work. Her support made everything smooth and stress free. Compared to previous agencies I have rented with, the team has been so friendly, approachable, professional and genuinely helpful, which made what can often be a stressful process feel really easy. The team have always been quick to respond to emails and had good communication. Jason, the owner, took time to show me around the property on the move-in day including showing me where fire and carbon monoxide alarms are, explaining how to use the boiler and what to do if radiators are not working. I have not experienced this level of attention and care from previous agencies! I'm grateful for how smooth and positive my experience has been so far, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Davies Properties to anyone looking to rent/have their property managed. Thank you to the whole team for making me feel valued as a tenant!

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
