He took us around houses and found us our dream house.<br>James was exceptional, approachable, knowledgeable of the area and nothing was too much trouble.<br>Thank you so much for all your help.<br>I will always recommend house buyers to come to you!<br>James’ is definitely the best agent in Eastbourne!!<br>The whole team are polite and helpful.

15th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)From the outset Leaders were extremely helpful and supportive. Kept me informed of progress and helpfully led me through all I had to undertake. The sale went through reasonably quickly and they found a very suitable buyer to take over our treasured house. I would certainly recommend Leaders and use them again myself, when required.
19th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)We recetly used Archers to sell a family Probate property which wasn't without its issues, all of which were dealt with calmly & professionally by David. He didn't " hound"" us once over the time it took to sort out the problems & was very reassuring & helpful throughout the long process. Personally I don't have any further reason for Polegate in my life going forward, but would highly recommend Archers Estate Agents to anyone who does!

He has provided complete transparency, along with detailed knowledge drawing on his obvious extensive experience. He has ensured that he worked with me to achieve the best value for the property, and succeeded! It took around 8 weeks for the property to go on sale until sold. This actually on the lower end of the typical selling time for the area, so another point of success. I have been continuously updated throughout the entire process, and also responds very promptly to any emails I have sent. I also want to mention that for the services provided (photos and advertising etc), that the fee is a very fair price, and good value.

16th Aug 2026 (7 days ago)If I could give lower than a 1 star review I would. We had a very disappointing experience renting through Brand Vaughan.<br><br>At the viewing we specifically asked about mould and were told there were no issues. On moving in, we immediately found mould in kitchen cupboards, and later in both bathrooms and on an external kitchen wall. We were later told by a contractor working on the property that these issues were already known, which is extremely concerning but as the property had been repainted etc before we moved in the issue was temporarily unnoticable. It has since returned despite running dehumidifiers 24hours a day since we moved in.<br><br>The communication throughout the process was also poor, with unclear and inconsistent information, delays with contracts, and repeated difficulty getting straight answers at key stages of the move.<br><br>We were advised not to book removals due to contract delays, which ultimately caused unnecessary stress and a delayed move-in, despite rent already being paid.<br><br>I would advise future tenants to independently verify everything rather than relying on information provided during the letting process as the letting agent we dealt with seemed totally ill prepared and quite novice at his job.<br><br>**In response to the comment below from Charters even insinuating that it isn't a genuine review, it could unfortunately could not be a truer representation of the horrendous experience I had with them. I lodged a formal complaint via email already and the useless response I got just goes to show how little they care.<br><br>DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS!

From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, approachable, and always available whenever we needed him. He was very hands-on, keeping us updated every step of the way and always happy to answer any questions we had, no matter how small.<br><br>What really stood out was how proactive and responsive he was. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his communication was exceptional, which made what can often be a stressful process so much easier.<br><br>We genuinely felt supported throughout, and Heb went above and beyond to ensure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. We can't thank him enough for all of his hard work and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and dedicated estate agent.

They have kept us informed every step of the way, and have always been attentive, kind and helpful. We love the house we are buying so much, but if we were ever inclined to sell, I would definitely use them again, for both buying a house through them, or selling.<br><br>A huge thank you to all of the team!

Not only do you get a more personal touch throughout, but communications are much faster than I have come to expect with previous agents I’ve used. Added bonus is the transparent costs and Phil not being afraid to chase solicitors on both sides to get a sale through in a timely fashion. Highly recommended estate agent ????????????
