23rd May 2026 (13 weeks ago)Incredible service from Aston White from start to finish. Martin was great. Very professional, with excellent communication and most importantly, they knew how to attract the right serious buyers. They handled the viewings, kept us informed, and were very knowledgeable about the local market. A lot of estate agents are more like “marketing” companies and lack the personal touch. Aston White feels more like a professional consultancy, which is what makes them different. If you are looking to sell or buy a property in Billericay, I would suggest speaking with Aston White first. We tried a local estate agent before, and you couldn’t even compare the two.

16th Aug 2026 (7 days ago)Andrew, Nicola and Toby were all fantastic throughout my sale experience. Andrew talked me through the whole process and put my property on the market. Using the web portal they'd set up for me, it made it easy to see what viewings were happening and I could keep track on the process. When the offer came in it was a straight forward process to accept and move on to the next stage. There were some problems with my buyer later down the line but Nicola worked tirelessly to get the movement through and communicated well every step of the way

They have been very helpful and informative all the way through the sale of my mother’s house . Luckily, we sold it very quickly thanks to Bradley, who came to view the property and was very confident that it would sell .. indeed he was right, the first viewers bought it !! I also have to thank Natasha, who kept us fully updated as the sale progressed, sending emails on a weekly basis … also Caroline and indeed Alex that came in towards the end of the sale … what more can I say … a truly great team that pull together to help the sale go through smoothly and indeed it did!! A big thank you again to Bradley who started the ball rolling back in March … and we completed the sale this week !! Well done to you all at the Wickford branch, who I would truly recommend to clients buying and selling . You’re a true team …..
1st Aug 2026 (22 days ago)We had a very disappointing experience trying to rent a property through this agency. After paying a holding deposit and completing the referencing process, communication was consistently poor, with long delays and little transparency.<br><br>We later discovered (only because a friend enquired about viewing the property) that the landlord was planning to sell. This was never communicated to us, despite us waiting for our tenancy to begin and making arrangements to leave our current home. Had we not found out ourselves, we could have been left without somewhere to live.<br><br>We only received our holding deposit back after threatening to escalate the matter, and throughout the process we were made to feel as though our concerns were unreasonable. The property is still being advertised on their website. Overall, a very frustrating and stressful experience. I would not recommend this agency.- 1st Aug 2026 (22 days ago)First time I view a property with them, I meet the rudest agent (Sofia) I've ever come across.<br><br>Second time I have a viewing with them, I turn up at the property, and no one's there, called them to find out they cancelled my appointment. No email or message left to inform me.<br><br>Needless to say, I see how unprofessional they are, I won't be viewimg any more properties by this agency not recommend them to anyone.

We originally went with Gibson & Brennan however they were rude, ready to take low offers and went against our wishes. Bear estate agents were polite, supportive, worked hard and great throughout. A pleasant experience at a good cost! Would totally recommend. special thanks to Ellie, Jack, Joe, Leanne (those that I knew of)

Not only are they very professional and ensure they look after your interests, but they are genuinely very nice people, not at all pushy and all nice people. I would like to thank Ross, Ewen, Nigel, Mary, Marie and the team so much for their help. They have moved away from the traditional hard sell estate agent , they work with huge knowledge and quiet confidence. We are happy with all aspects of their work and would say that despite their higher fees they are worth every penny.

Having only had contact with her at the end of the purchase, we feel she has gone above and beyond to get everything across the line for us, when she didn’t even need to! Matthew at Bairstoweves had also been particularly helpful and very friendly over the phone. Will definitely use them again! Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly from here!! Thanks again :)
