Their expert advice, particularly when the initial sale chain fell through, enabled us to quickly find another buyer and complete the process without any further issues. Everyone at the office was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable, and they always replied promptly to our queries and phone calls. I would highly recommend Walkers and would not hesitate to use their services again.

She appreciated that there were a number of pressures and moving parts involved in the transaction and was always willing to listen, keep us updated and help where she could.<br><br>She was responsive, professional and easy to communicate with, and we particularly appreciated the way she dealt with matters calmly and practically when things became time-sensitive. She understood the importance of keeping everyone informed and helped maintain communication between the parties during a fairly pressured transaction.<br><br>Elena was always courteous and helpful, and we felt that she genuinely wanted to see the transaction reach a successful conclusion.<br><br>We are very grateful for her assistance and would happily recommend her to anyone buying or selling a property.

They were always at the end of the phone for any query and dealt with our house sale with sensitivity and respect. I would not hesitate to recommend Strutt and Parker.

She clearly knew the market and the area to give us the best guidance to put in a successful offer on our new home. The building site was very restricted for additional viewings, but Emma was very cooperative for us to gain access, and for trades to arrange dates with her to measure up. Invaluable for us to have a successful and easy move. Thank you Emma, you really did make the difference to our purchase.

12th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My family rented a property through Belhus, they have experienced so many problems. The property had a number of H&S safety issues that should have been fixed prior to them moving in, but nothing was checked properly. Walls and fences falling down, windows falling out, blocked drains; the house is a total disgrace. The Managing Director, Katy Adams, is rude, patronising and has the attitude that they should be grateful when contractors attend. I have really never known anything like it! One star is a very generous rating, if zero had been an option I would have chosen that as a rating!

1st Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I leave on 218 Harwich road 3 year ,was very old house, i let this house with Abbotts Property from Colchester, Manager from theare check with me this hoise before i leave and say everythig is the same how was before and hi does t see any reasson to take my money back from depozit, i leave i moving to Romania with my family and after 1 months this agency Aboots send my message i have to pay back 1600£ to change floor, toillet, garage door, etc so this landdor not coming any day in 3 year i spend my money to fix some things and now hi whany to clean and change floor with my money. So be aware with this agency!

They will not complete the due diligence you need as a landlord, lie to you about having done things they haven’t (like property checks, tenant visits and not telling you the truth about issues with your property). They will also overcharge tenants for their deposits and try to charge rates 2x the amount of other companies for work to be done.<br><br>AVOID AT ALL COST- 10th Oct 2022 (4 years ago)Chloe empathised with us and ensured that our search was less stressful. Considering we were new in the country. She was professional all the way.

The whole team at Yaxley's were extremely attentive with ourselves throughout the sales process and took the stress out of our hands, while maintaining high proffessionalsm. With weekly updates, we always knew were we stood. If you are looking to sell your property, I would highly recommend them. You can put all of your trust into them and know that they will do their very best to keep you at their best interests. Thanks again Yaxley Homes, we will definitely be using you again in the future.

I spoke to a lovely lady in the office who was fantastically accommodating and arranged a viewing within 20 minutes of my phone enquiry.<br><br>I was met at the property by Terri, who is apparently one of the owners. I loved the house, which was listed for between £350,000 - £375,000. I made an offer there and then of £361,000. She asked if I could increase anymore but couldn’t.<br><br>I then phoned my partner about it and wanted to arrange a second viewing for Saturday morning. I phoned Terri and refused to book a second viewing until after the weekend, “if other viewers offered more”. I said she was basing a lot of the conversation on an “if”, especially given our particularly desirable buying position. She reluctantly arranged the viewing.<br><br>When my partner arrived to view the property this morning she was there again and made a point of telling him that she was only doing the viewing as a favour to me and that unless we could raise our budget, we couldn’t afford it…OUR OFFER WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ASKING PRICE!!<br><br>My partner was dressed in a hoodie and shorts as he works in a suit 6 days a week and felt particularly judged by this woman. She is vile. If she’s the owner, then how this agent is still in business is completely beyond me!!
