The whole team was incredibly helpful, supportive, and felt like family throughout the entire process. Connells has their own in-house mortgage advisor and also managed the solicitor services for us, which made everything much more convenient and smooth. A special thank you to Andrea for handling our mortgage so professionally, and to Kazminder at Tolbats Law for managing the legal process efficiently. We are very grateful to Vicky, Samantha, Okan, and Liam for their constant guidance, kindness, and excellent communication. They were always available when we needed help and made the entire journey much easier for us. Others in the team stepped in when Madelaine was not available, and maintained the positive experience for us. The agent, of course, works for the vendor - but Alexander & Co had the purchaser's interests clearly in focus, and did their best to smooth over issues when they arose during the process.

Selling my mother's home was always going to be an emotional process, and Jacob at Orchid Estate Agents handled every aspect of it with genuine care and professionalism. Throughout the entire process, his communication was exemplary. We were kept informed at every stage, never left wondering what was happening, and always felt like a priority. He achieved a fantastic price, moved things along at impressive speed, and did it all with a calm, reassuring manner. If you're looking for an agent who combines real expertise with genuine human warmth, Jacob is exactly that. We wouldn't hesitate to use Orchid again.

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

As part of this process (both selling and buying), we came across a number of different agencies, and the Akeman team is easily the most professional, responsive, honest, accommodating and helpful team. From viewings, to deal negotiations, to progressing the sale, they are supportive and transparent at every step. They follow-through with their promises. Bottom line, I never felt the need to "chase" them on anything, and that speaks volumes. They are simply a breath of fresh air after some mixed experience I've had with other estate agents. I would highly recommend anyone looking to sell/ let their home in the area to give them a call!

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.
