14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)We have recently sold our mother’s house. Of the three agents shortlisted, we chose Ballards due to high street presence and their enthusiasm and approach. This included Ryan who is dedicated to progressing the sale through to completion.<br><br>We agreed the particulars quickly, had viewings booked within a day and an immediate offer of the asking price. We used Conway solicitors (introduced by Ballards). The entire process was faultless and very fast as the buyers were keen to move quickly.<br><br>We completed on the sale less than 6 weeks after the house going on the market. Thank you to Ryan, Harry and the team at Ballards for ensuring a successful outcome for both parties.

She is, by far, the best estate agent we met in all of that time. We have very small children that we had concerns about bringing along to view properties but June assured us that she would help keep them entertained & she did just that - my little boy still asks why June isn't with us in our new home!<br>June also recommended that we viewed the house (which we brought through Prospects) even though we had initially dismissed it. Needless to say - we couldn't be more grateful. We had really excellent support from Sylwia, so kind and so professional. Throughout a tricky process, Sylwia handled everything for us and got the right outcome for us. We really felt that we mattered to her, as well as the whole Davis Tate team. I recommend Sylwia and the whole team wholeheartedly.

They gave us clear and practical advice, kept us informed throughout the process and responded promptly whenever we had a question.<br>Their support made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed. We particularly appreciated the personal service, attention to detail and the care taken to find suitable tenants for the property. It was reassuring to know that everything was being handled efficiently and professionally.<br>I would happily recommend Parkers to other landlords looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent.

Selling my late mother’s house was naturally an emotional process, but the whole team were compassionate, professional and supportive throughout.<br><br>A special mention goes to Alex, who went above and beyond at every stage. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his communication, kindness and dedication made a difficult time much easier to navigate.<br><br>The sale was handled efficiently and with genuine care, and I always felt I was in safe hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hillier & Wilson again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent in Newbury and surrounding areas.

Their local knowledge is second to none and they always give a speedy response to enquiries. I like that they are an established family business who are friendly and professional at all times. They take the rough with the smooth, always trying to bring a positive outcome to any problem. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

After making an offer that was accepted, Matt was instrumental in liaising with the property owner for access to the property before completion in order to complete renovation works. He communicated well, responded to requests in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. And he answered his phone when I rang. We moved in on July 29th and couldn't have done it without his help.<br><br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Knight Frank in Henley if you're buying or selling property in this area.

I was able to book our viewing via WhatsApp and communicate throughout via WhatsApp, which was really handy given my busy schedule. Connor was proactive throughout, and we felt genuinely well looked after.<br><br>If and when we come to sell, we’ll certainly be using Who Property — and we’d recommend them to anyone selling, despite only being the buyer in this transaction. It was a refreshingly different experience compared to a high street chain agency!
