12th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)The worst estate agents I have ever come across and so unprofessional, I would not recommend using these EVER ! if this estate agents was the last place I had to use I would not use . Rented a house from them not going to mention where , but it was problem after problem it made mine and my partners life hell we lasted 6 months at the property . When I first viewed it I asked if the property suffered with mould I got told no , few months later the property was covered in mould and my partner ended up with mould poisoning. The day I handed the keys back I got told that the estate was not going to rent this property out to anybody ever again , not even two months later and the property is back on their page for rent again suprise suprise we got LIED to again . I’m actually shocked with the lack of professionalism of this estate agents . So no I wouldn’t recommend we just got messed about by these . I would not use this place unless you want to get lied to in person or messed around . Absolute joke of a place !

They provided constant updates and would chase up anything I needed to know. This is my first rental since uni so it’s a big thing for me, but Robyn has truly made it a breeze. If you can, speak to Robyn about a property! Thank you!
23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)They were good in all fairness. I ended up part exchanging my house for a new one so never actually sold. The staff there were very helpful and friendly however.

Alex was very helpful in guiding us and answering all our queries and the whole process went smoothly and very efficiently. Totally recommend them.- 15th Jun 2026 (21 days ago)After a great start. We are most disappointed and feel totally ignored. We had an appointment to meet the agent at a property we were interested to view. After recieving 2 messages to confirm time and place we waited 40 minutes and the agent didn't arrive. After knocking on the door and meeting the seller they informed us the agent had phoned and said he wasn't coming. We were shown around the property by the seller. We have since contacted the office and promised a call back from the branch manager and of course that didn't happen either.Would not use this agent again.

They arranged viewings without delay, and responded to our phone calls & emails promptly. The negotiator Nickole, was always very friendly and professional. She helped secure our dream home and completed the relevant paperwork swiftly, with up to date communication throughout. Thank you very much Nickole.
17th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)I had a fantastic experience with Brown & Merry Stony Stratford, and I would especially like to highlight Alexandra Read for her outstanding support throughout the process.<br><br>I attended around 7–8 viewings and met several different agents, but none were as helpful, approachable, and genuinely positive as Alexandra. From the outset, her communication style was warm, professional, and reassuring, making the entire experience feel smooth and well-managed.<br><br>She demonstrated a strong understanding of how to adapt her approach to different clients, which made interactions feel both personal and efficient. From the initial viewing through to the referencing and application process, she maintained clear and consistent communication via both email and phone, ensuring everything progressed quickly and without stress.<br><br>Overall, the service was excellent, and Alexandra in particular made a potentially stressful process feel straightforward and well supported. I would highly recommend both her and Brown & Merry Stony Stratford to anyone looking for a reliable and professional letting experience.
14th Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)First photos were poor, I had to ask them to retake them a few times. No contact after it was on the market, no updates , had to phone for updates . Wouldn't recomnend Robert Ellis, we had a very bad experience with them, just feel it was a waste of time and a lost opportunity for us to sell our house.- 23rd Jun 2026 (13 days ago)The lettings staff, Charly and Amber have both been extremely supportive and kind. They have worked their socks off to make a traumatic experience less so. My only wish is that phoning them would be less stressful as they are so busy and often already on the phone with other customers and landlords alike. However, this does not detract from their excellent service and their ability to go the extra mile. Thank you.

25th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)I've dealt with estate agents before, but this company was an absolute joke.<br><br>They were completely unwilling to do their jobs and made little to no effort to follow up with or chase the landlord for answers to basic questions. They seemed to have very limited information about the property and constantly told us to call the office, only for the office to have no additional information either.<br><br>The overall service was extremely unprofessional. One of the final frustrations was their refusal to release the keys without a face-to-face ID check, despite already having taken and verified our ID at the start of the process.<br><br>Whenever shortcomings in their service were raised, they hid behind the "new renters' rights" legislation, even when it was completely unrelated to the issue being discussed. It felt more like an excuse than a genuine explanation.<br><br>In summary, I found them lazy, unprofessional, and uncooperative. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

She kept us updated every step of the way and nothing was too much effort for her. The house buying process is such a stressful time but Ellie helped ease this stress as was always available via phone and email and did a brilliant job of updating us and chasing our solicitors.
