Disgusting and unprofessional behavior from this property management company. In a clear act of retaliation after being replaced by adding over tens and thousands of service charges from five years ago—charges that were already paid— to all leaseholders and passed them onto the new management agent to pursue. This is not only unethical, it’s manipulative and misleading. Such conduct shows a complete lack of integrity and accountability. It’s a disgrace to the profession and a warning to anyone considering doing business with this agent. Karma has a way of catching up, and this kind of behavior won’t go unnoticed. I've been letting my flat through Comber for more than 15 years and never been anything other than fully satisfied with the service. As well as finding suitable tenants very quickly (I suspect their deep knowledge of the area makes them the go-to agency in Blackheath), they regularly inspect the property to make sure it is being well looked after and are very quick to let me know if they are made aware of any problems between inspections so that I can resolve them quickly. They have a small army of trusted contractors for repairs and essential maintenance, which is a great help for me as a landlord and good for the tenants as they know their concerns will be dealt with quickly and thoroughly. It's a very personal service - even the company's founder will often get personally involved - and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy, sell, let or rent in the Blackheath area....
