5th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)Disappointing experience. We unfortunately entered the market just as the economy was crashing into recession. However we chose Churchill because of their long standing local presence and thought they would provide an excellent service. We found them old fashioned and disjointed e.g. no 360 degrees online presentation of our house, we had to point out out that the published photos were originally missing a room, they was a complete lack of diversity in their agents (of which we had to deal with 3 different men although the area manager had said we would only be dealing with him) the different agents didn’t appear to have pre-read the information we had provided about our house before the viewings and there was a general lack of ongoing communication. In the end we only had two viewings before we ended the contract after 4 weeks.
11th Feb 2026 (21 weeks ago)have been a tenant with Hamptons for five years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provide. From day one, they have shown great attention to detail and genuine care, always making sure I feel supported and well looked after. The team is very serious and professional in everything they do, and I truly appreciate how reliable and responsive they are. Any issue or question I’ve had has always been handled efficiently and with care. A special mention goes to Dena Gold the property manager, who is absolutely the best. She is dedicated, professional, and always follows through on what she promises. It’s rare to find someone so reliable and committed to doing a great job. Dena is a real asset to Hamptons. I highly recommend Hamptons to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional property management company.
5th Jun 2021 (5 years ago)I started looking for an apartment on Bank Holiday Monday in late May. I was delighted to encounter the team at Dexters who were keen to assist. I was greeted by Cory who I found to be interested in me and my criteria. A great conversation followed by a number of viewings facilitated across the patch. During the viewings I received a professional yet really personable response, great knowledge and confidence building for me as it is my first time renting and everything was new to me. I had so many questions and when Corey and I realised that I wished to expand my criteria, Corey facilitated alternatives and despite his having other customers to deal with intermittently I was able to receive a truly comprehensive service from him. We viewed 7 properties that day, I was so impressed to have achieved so much in one day, Luke also assisted in answering my queries later in the day and provided me with furniture rental information to help me consider all cost planning when considering furnished and unfurnished options. I got a superb service from Dexters and thank Corey particularly for making me feel comfortable, providing all the information I needed and providing me so many great opportunities to view in one day! Superb. Impressed by the follow up connection from him also. Brilliant job Corey and Luke.

22nd Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)I recently dealt with them regarding a property in the Colorado development and I can honestly say the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Communication was always swift, clear and transparent and every interaction felt professional yet genuinely friendly. Mark was particularly helpful and he kept me updated at every stage, explained all options openly and went out of his way to find suitable alternatives when circumstances changed. When it became clear that the original flat might not be available, the agency handled everything with complete honesty and refunded my holding deposit immediately in less than 12h something that really reflects their integrity and efficiency. It’s rare to come across an agency that combines professionalism with such a personal, approachable attitude. I’ll definitely be back in touch with them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, transparent and friendly lettings team.

6th Dec 2025 (7 mo. ago)I had a very bad experience with this agency. I left a £300 holding deposit, but they refused to offer the 3-month tenancy I clearly asked for from the beginning. Instead, they tried to force a 12-month contract, which I never agreed to. When the tenancy could not proceed because they refused my request, they also refused to refund my holding deposit. This is not professional and goes against the Tenant Fees Act 2019. Communication was poor, and they did not provide clear information from the start. I do not recommend this agency.
6th Jul 2026 (5 days ago)Toomey Estate Agents represented the seller and on several occasions refused to contact her because she was abroad - even when the matter was urgent on the day of completion. This made the experience very stressful and we were homeless for one night. Their concern over bothering their client (refusing to even send a text) almost led to the sale falling through

6th Mar 2026 (18 weeks ago)I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt this experience was worth sharing. I was searching for a studio flat for a short-term let and contacted the office several times. Unfortunately, my calls were either rejected or I was told I would receive a call back to arrange a viewing, which never happened. When I did manage to speak with someone, the level of professionalism was disappointing. The agent I spoke to seemed uninterested in answering basic questions and the conversation felt very dismissive. One Saturday late last year I decided to visit the office in person. The shutters were down, which seemed unusual during opening hours, and through the window I could see a member of staff asleep on the sofa. After that, it became clearer why my calls had been going unanswered. Overall, the experience left a very poor impression and felt quite unprofessional.
