What immediately stood out is that because they are an independent, local firm (and not a massive chain) you genuinely feel they care about the quality of service they deliver. This personal commitment is evident in every interaction. The entire team was fantastic, guiding us seamlessly through every step, from the initial viewing right up to signing the tenancy agreement. This level of comprehensive support is a rarity. In a market saturated with awful agencies that solely prioritise maximising profit for the landlord, this agency is completely different. They strike a perfect, ethical balance: they genuinely care about both the landlords and the tenants, focusing on finding the right people who will look after the properties long-term. This focus on fit, rather than just finance, makes all the difference. We were already thrilled with the professionalism, but receiving a lovely welcome box full of goodies on moving day was the sweetest finishing touch! We are so incredibly happy with the entire process and wholeheartedly recommend this agency to anyone looking for a property or seeking a management company that values people and property equally.
5th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)This company does not refund your refundable deposit and charge you in fees when doing a reference check. I suspect they did not even do a credit check and just bank every applicants deposit knowing full well there is no properties for rent. I suspect this is a scam and I had to make multiple calls and even promises to drop by their office. I would advise you all to have caution when dealing with this company.
3rd Apr 2021 (5 years ago)The staff at the Warlingham office were extremely helpful and pro- active in pursuing the sale of my property and in driving the matter through a number of issues to achieve completion. I was extremely satisfied with their professional service, courtesy and perseverance.

24th Jun 2025 (10 mo. ago)"Unprofessional and Costly – Misguided Sellers and Left Buyers Out of Pocket" Review: Terrible experience. After months of progressing toward exchange, the estate agent allowed the sellers to pull out at the very last minute, leaving us with thousands of pounds in losses on legal fees, surveys, and wasted time. Throughout the process, the agency showed poor communication, misleading updates, and a total lack of responsibility in managing the sale properly. Either they couldn’t control the process, or they didn’t care enough to do so. A word of warning to potential sellers—if you’re considering using this agent, be very cautious. Based on our experience, they gave the sellers poor advice, encouraged unprofessional behaviour, and jeopardised the entire transaction. If you want serious buyers to trust your sale, choose a professional agent who won’t let it fall apart at the last minute. Would not recommend to anyone—buyers or sellers.

What you get with these guys is more than an estate agency service, but rather a company that truly understands what moving home means and how it impacts everyone involved. Always professional, going the extra mile and with the most wonderful care and attention. We can't recommend them highly enough!

Zoe, James and Mark were consistently helpful, professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. Their customer service was top-notch, making us feel well-supported every step of the way. Special mention to Zoe, whose exceptional people skills made a real difference. She kept us informed at every stage, ensuring we felt comfortable and confident in all our dealings with the process. The entire team made what could have been a stressful time feel smooth and straightforward – this includes the extremely efficient and helpful telephone staff that often took our calls and reassured us. Highly recommend Brown and Co for anyone looking to buy or sell – they truly go above and beyond.

12th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)I am writing this behalf of my uncle because he doesn’t speak English last year he rented a flat from these people they all so speak Turkish so my uncle paid them admission fees which by law they don’t have the right to ask him for admission fees but they did why because my uncle doesn’t speak English and he’s only been in uk for one and half years and then they asked him for weeks rent 2 months deposit again buy law they can only ask 4 week’s and when he left the flat they only give his one moths rent back said to him we only had one month deposit of yours horrible people
30th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Cromwells were professional throughout but were affected by a slowing market due to increased interest rates. This meant that they were unable to get the number of anticipated viewings and were unable to sell my house. I took the decision to move agents to try and speed up a sale but Cromwells did get some viewings and their communication was good.
13th Feb 2026 (12 weeks ago)Initially Newton Fallowell appeared keen on the premises. Property on the market for five months, no viewing, no information from the agents. Incentive offered to the sales person who sells the property offered. Contact with agents who wanted to drop the price by £30k in January. None of the houses of similar value who have lowered their prices have yet to be sold. They only want to advertise on right move etc.

They were helpful, honest, and never pushy, which made the whole process far less stressful than I expected. No pressure tactics, just clear guidance throughout and even support after completion. They made sure to learn as much as possible about area, viewings were well planned and we had only serious buyers through the door. When it came to offers times, we were lucky to have multiple offers and Maison team were amazing at directing us to buyer that was best fit. Support through whole process was amazing with constant status update all they way up to completion and after! Fantastic team and we will df be using them for our future sales x

We chose Kenyons as we wanted a family run estate agent that cared about finding the right person for our property as opposed to just chasing the commission!<br>Last year we decided to sell our 3 bedroom family home as we were down sizing and we did not hesitate in giving the property to Kenyons. We were constantly updated with viewings and feedback (we didn't have many to be honest) and when an offer was accepted, the sale went through smoothly and quickly.<br>The whole team at Kenyons have gone above and beyond to assist with both our rental and with the recent sale of our property.<br>If you are looking for a highly motivated, caring and professional team, then I highly recommend Kenyons.
