13th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Having been an estate agent myself for 10 years, I knew what to look for in an agent when it came to selling our Penthouse apartment in Glasgow City centre. Ultimately we wanted the best price coupled with the reassurance our sale was in safe hands. The team at Slater Hogg Candleriggs did a wonderful job and we were delighted with the service we received and ultimately the offer we got. Fergus their Valuer is a wealth of knowledge and knows the city market inside out. Tegan and Elaine in the office kept in touch throughout the process and were instrumental in negotiating offers. I would absolutely recommend using them for selling any property in the city.

24th Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Chris, Ghelia and the team were fantastic. This was the first time I had put a property on the market, and they took their time explaining the process to me. Made me feel at ease and listened to any concerns I had. They were also honest and transparent with how much I could sell my home for, and believed it would sell for the price I had in mind and would sell well, which is what you want when putting your home on the market. The process was easy and smooth. I would 100% use them in the future!

As first time buyers, we had no clue where to start but Andrew took his time explaining the process and answered any questions we had! He went above and beyond for us and would highly recommend using his mortgages services.

My solicitor Susan Oates and property manager Jane Yarrington both went above and beyond to answer all of my queries, and their hard work meant that all the paperwork went through quickly without any issues. I would highly recommend their services.

All the staff were amazing can’t fault any of them. Highly recommend Alison at Your Move as her communication was excellent for updates on my flat and searching for a new house
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.
24th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Buyers and Sellers - Avoid! Based on my recent experiences as a prospective buyer, I would strongly advise both buyers and especially sellers to avoid using Clyde Properties. I attempted to arrange viewings with them on two separate occasions, and both interactions were consistently disappointing. Despite advertising “appointment only” viewings, they offered only open viewings. At the first property, it was clear that many attendees believed they had private appointments. The agent on site took no interest in the viewing, offered no information about the property, and repeatedly responded with “refer to the home report” to even basic questions. They appeared unfamiliar with the property and disengaged throughout. A second attempt to view another property was just as frustrating. Although the listing went live early in the week, the only viewings offered were during working hours on Friday and Monday. Despite requesting an alternative time well before the closing date, they made no effort to arrange one. Having sold a home through a different agency, the contrast in service quality was stark. Clyde Properties showed little willingness to work with buyers, and based on many other reviews I have since read, this seems to be a common complaint. For sellers, this lack of engagement is particularly concerning; an agency uninterested in supporting buyers will inevitably impact interest and offers. With so many other agencies offering far better service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Personally, I will avoid properties listed with Clyde in the future, and it appears many others feel the same.

Always quick to respond to any queries, gave very helpful advice and her knowledge on the local housing market was excellent. I had a very good offer on my property within 24 hours! Would not hesitate to recommend them.
19th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)We booked an initial appointment with Your Move to get a feel for the market and to see what their feel was for our property. The guy who came was here 15 minutes, brought no information with him, didn’t know there was a property for sale just a couple of doors down from us and we still haven’t had any costings or information from them four days later. I am guessing they didn’t want to market our property and it would have been great if they had just been straightforward with us rather than waste our time!!!! We had very different experiences with other Estate Agents and have gone elsewhere. I don’t mind that they didn’t want to represent us but some common courtesy would have been nice!

They kept in regular touch with us re the progress of our sale and offers. Overall an amazing home move experience and I would recommend Momo without any reservations. A five star overall experience!
2nd May 2026 (6 days ago)We haven’t actually used the services of Avenue Road yet, but I feel compelled to write this review anyway. We viewed a house on a bit of a whim and decided we wanted to make an offer. We’d therefore need to put our own house on the market pretty fast! We had a property valuation with Andrew literally the next day. He was very friendly and clearly knowledgable about the local area. Unfortunately, we didn’t end up going to the market as our offer wasn’t accepted on the purchase but if we were, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Andrew again.
