20th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)Shadey agency who refuses to send me my rental statements as proof they've received rent from me during my tenancy. Shoddy record keeping and billing practices by issuing me an invoice for rent after expiration of my tenancy and failing to keep their portal correct with updated information regarding tenancy end date. They hide behind an excuse of miscommunication despite there being a clear record of communication on these specific details. Lettings manager and agent undertook to send me my rental statements on 17 April - requested on the 15th- its the 20th April today and still nothing, despite this being my personal data. I'd never trust them or recommend them to anyone.

Miles, who handled my viewings and tenancy was very amenable and worked hard to obtain the answer to any questions that I had. Highly recommend!
23rd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)We meet Grant Brown and Nicola MacDonald from Choices estate agents when looking for a property. Our search was in the Sanderstead, South Croydon, Purely and Caterham areas which there South Croydon branch covers. From our first contact with Grant he took the time to understand what it was that we were looking for and this ultimately led us to the lovely house we now own. We had been looking for a while with other agents and had started to feel like we were waisting our time. Grant then talked with us about a lady’s property that was just about to come off the market it sounded perfect for us! He managed to get us in for a viewing really quickly . The house was just what we were looking for! Grant and Nicola were very helpful and professional throughout the process. communication was excellent. Any issues answered quickly and throughly. It was a very positive experience with Nicola and Grant. Thank you both very much

14th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)10/10 would recommend! Wendy, Tina, Ashley and the team at Maguire Baylis have been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process of buying my first home! I can not recommend Macquire Baylis enough, and they have made the process as smooth as it can be. I endeavoured a lot of challenges with solicitors but the team at Maguire Baylis went above and beyond, explaining things my solicitor failed to explain, and helping progress the purchase from start to end, persevering despite the challenges and getting us to complete. I can not thank them enough!

Thank you all- 30th Apr 2026 (9 days ago)We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Hamptons teams (Blackheath and Sevenoaks) for managing the sale of our five bedroom property in Chislehurst. Hamptons marketing to potential purchasers resulted in a regular viewings by worthy parties. In addition, the communications we received before and after each viewing was much appreciated so that always felt appraised of the interest in our property. In the lead up to exchange of contracts and then sale completion, Hamptons played very helpful role to liaise with our purchasers. This enabled a smooth and amicable path to completion. For their professionalism, knowledge of the market, attention to detail, regular advice & guidance and first rate communications, we would recommend Hamptons without reservation.
27th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)I was a tenant of Dockside Property services for two years. In that time, they charged me disgusting amounts for a check in fee, check out few, signing fee, if they had any involvement you better believe you'd pay for it. They also took 1.5 years of that two year tenancy to fit a bathroom extractor fan which was broken when I moved in, and that the previous tenant tried to get fixed. Every issue I ever raised was dealt with in a sluggish manner sadly - an online portal / report system can be as fancy as it wants - but it doesn't help unless you actually check it. They were also kind enough to charge us for additional cleaning of the property when we left it spotless - as well as trying to charge us £60 for replacing a piece of wood under the dishwasher that wasn't fitted back after repairs that they did. The reason it didn't fit was because the repair made the gap physically too small for the wood to fit in, so oddly enough I couldn't refit it, but somehow they didn't seem to understand that. Maybe they didn't do that "get the shape in the hole" game when they were younger. After explaining this they then doubled down on their stupidly and we disputed via the DPS, and they settled in our favour because I figure someone that works there actually has eyes / a basic understanding of shapes and measurements. Either way, I wouldn't rent from them again unless I had no other option. Oh, and if you're looking at renting 25 The Eye, the flats in Chatham, the hot water is basically non existant (unless you take 3 second showers), the washing machine is from the early 90's, rent is very high, you can hear every breath of your neighbours (above, on both sides and below) as well as the lovely potent smelling...."cigarettes" from those below 24/7 - and if you hear a scuttling in the night in the walls or see something dash across the kitchen floor, don't worry, that's just the rats from the bin store under the building. ??????
16th Apr 2026 (23 days ago)I lived in my flat for 8 months now and have so far experienced so many issues that their check-in report failed to identify. First day I moved in, the bathtub was clogged, there were underwear stuffed in the drawers, toilet seat cover was cracked. The heater was also broken so had to freeze through December, and they also pointed me to the wrong the electricity meter so I’ve been paying for my neighbour’s electricity. Their property manager is incompetent at best, ignoring emails/calls and just sit there watch you suffer / sort out problems by yourself. Avoid at all cost.

Matthew made the whole process incredibly smooth and stress-free, guiding me step by step and offering support from start to finish. The communication was excellent throughout, which made everything so much easier. Lina and Helen were also lovely to deal with—always more than happy to answer any questions I had along the way. Overall, everyone I interacted with was kind and extremely helpful. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable estate agent in South West London

Communication was excellent throughout, and any issues on any side of the chain were dealt with quickly, calmly and effectively. Moving home is often described as one of life’s most stressful experiences, but Stewart genuinely took the stress out of it for us. It was a real pleasure to work with someone so professional, proactive and reassuring — we always felt confident knowing everything was in safe hands and that Stewart had complete command over proceedings. Thank you so much for making what could have been a difficult process such a positive one.
1st May 2026 (8 days ago)I would like to share my experience with landlords who are thinking of using Foxtons letting services. Foxtons will be very happy to take full year commission from you the moment they have found a tenant for you but they will not refund you in cash if your tenant moves out early say after month 2 in my case. They will not return you the commission even if you no longer wish to rent out your property. Be very careful if you are considering using Foxtons. I see the business practice as totally unfair and have shared with all my neighbours and community groups. People need to be aware of it. I will share it over the social platforms as well to promote awareness. Think about selling your property through Foxtons. Would you want to use a company like this? I wouldn’t.
