Nothing was ever too much, he was contactable through WhatsApp at any time (even when he was on holiday) and went above and beyond. When we are looking again in the future, they will be the first I call.

21st Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Stoneridge Estate Agents. From start to finish, there was a clear lack of professionalism, urgency, and basic sales progression. We consistently felt that the process was being handled in favour of the buyer, with little regard for us as the sellers. Communication was poor throughout. Emails marked as urgent were not responded to in a timely manner, and updates were vague or lacking altogether. At a critical stage in the transaction, we were left chasing for information that should have been proactively managed by the agent. Most concerning was the failure to properly progress the sale. Key actions, such as chasing solicitors and moving outstanding enquiries forward, were not carried out with the level of urgency expected. This caused unnecessary delays and added significant stress. The buyer’s survey and subsequent renegotiation were also allowed to happen very late in the process, creating avoidable disruption. This should have been addressed much earlier and managed far more effectively. Overall, the handling of this sale was poor and ultimately led to us losing confidence and withdrawing completely. We would not recommend.
3rd Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)Wards, Deal branch, have gone above and beyond to help me complete on my purchase, and I can't thank them enough. My buyer's mortgage offer was due to expire, the day I completed.. There had been delays with the buyer's enquiries, and with other legal issues he had (he was not going through Wards). Amanda offered to work late so the chain could complete on this final day. I was struck by her humility in doing this, in her own time. She has consistently gone out of her way to help, her communication has been brilliant, as well as her determination to ensure the sale went through successfully. Dylan went out of his way with paperwork, which I was struggling with, always willing to help. Ellie has been generally lovely when I've been in, helpful, friendly and very professional with it. Thank you so much for an excellent impressive service, all of you at the Deal branch.

27th Jan 2026 (24 weeks ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and we felt they always knew who we were personally. The house sold very quickly, something of an achievement in the current market. I think we were lucky in that John knew of someone who wanted a house in our area, but the fact is he did know and he made sure they knew it was going on the market.
