They were knowledgeable about the local area, responded promptly to my questions, and made everything feel straightforward and well organised. 21st Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Terrible agent<br><br>I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.<br><br>I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.<br><br>6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.<br><br>At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.<br><br>In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.<br><br>I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process

Having lived in our house for 30 years, this was our very first experience selling a property. It was naturally a huge milestone and a bit emotional for us, but their steady guidance made what could have been a stressful process feel completely manageable.<br><br>The communication from start to finish was exceptional. We were impressed right from our initial meeting with Lucy Golton, who set a clear and confident direction. That high standard continued seamlessly through all our interactions with Jenna Pinkney, whose constant updates and guidance kept everything running smoothly. Even when Jenna was away on leave, Amelia Grima stepped in without missing a beat and kept the momentum going completely hassle-free.<br><br>That level of teamwork, continuity, and genuine care made a world of difference to us. We are so grateful for their professionalism and would enthusiastically recommend Robert Watts to anyone looking for an estate agency team they can truly trust!

16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)I recently used hunters to buy my first property. From start to finish, their communication was brilliant and they kept us informed at every single stage of the chain. When things got a bit delayed with the solicitors, max the one who was dealing with my property had stepped in to chase everything up. wouldn't hesitate to recommend them very lovely staff.
8th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)I would leave 0 stars if I could.<br>We viewed a property on 8th September and took the time to complete an application, but never received an update on the outcome. I chased this up and was told they were still waiting to hear back from the landlord. Since then, we have heard absolutely nothing.<br>As of 8th October, we have still not been informed of the outcome. We can only assume our application was unsuccessful, which is absolutely fine, but the least you expect is to be told rather than being left completely in the dark.<br>It is really disappointing to spend time viewing a property, completing an application and then chasing for an update, only to receive no communication whatsoever. A simple message to let us know the outcome would have been basic courtesy and professionalism.<br>Unfortunately, this experience has left us really disappointed with Alan Slater Estate Agents, and I would not recommend them based on the lack of communication

2nd Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Great experience moving in. Suitable properties were disappearing as quickly as they became available. The team at Biscayne sent me a video tour when I asked from Scotland, before I could get down. They were flexible about the date I collected keys. The property itself is stunning. Beautiful inside and well maintained. I hope more properties like this in Bradford are brought to market for people.

Ive been renting for years and this has by far been the most organised and personable company I’ve dealt with. I would definitely recommend ??????

I called to arrange a viewing for a property I was genuinely interested in and was told that veiwing is not yet started but I’d be added to the waiting list. I provided all the requested information, including details about my income and family circumstances, but heard nothing for two weeks. When I followed up, they claimed to have no record of my enquiry and said the list was already full. There was no attempt to resolve the issue or acknowledge the mistake. Poor communication and poor customer service.

Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)Great experience with our complicated and ever-moving case.<br><br>Charlotte and Ella were fantastic in dealing with the sale of our house. They were proactive and attentive to all of our needs, and helped get everything organised. They were also very helpful when it came to liaising between solicitors.<br><br>When our case became slightly more complex halfway through (in the wider chain), Jess was great at helping us to understand the issues and pushing the solicitors to ensure that our sale didn’t fall through.<br><br>It was a long process, particularly when things are out of your control, but the team made it much more manageable and enjoyable!
