11th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience when I came close to buying a property through Abbotts Stowmarket.<br><br>They effectively lead me on for well over a month, making me believe that I had placed an acceptable offer on a property, and that the vendor just needed more time to find onwards, only for them to then inform me at the very last second that another party had come in with an offer... how convenient.<br><br>It’s clear that these agents used me as nothing more than bait, a useful idiot, to force the sale to go to best and final offers and to get their client a bigger offer, having led me down the garden path for weeks.<br><br>We all know that estate agents deploy these shady tactics, but it’s still extremely disappointing to fall victim to them.<br><br>I would not recommend buying through Abbotts Stowmarket, but you’ll probably do quite well selling through them TBH, as they seem to deploy these unsavoury tactics against perspective buyers and exploit their trust and goodwill.<br><br>A real shame.- 27th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)I had a lovely professional viewing with mark and found him very honest and informative<br><br>I had made a mistake with my viewing appointment and was at the property ! Rosanna Diaper was a true professional, communication with her throughout the sale was excellent and she made the whole process so much easier than I expected. In what is probably the most stressful time of your life Rosanna and her colleagues were just brilliant and just so helpful throughout the sale. Thank you all so very much
15th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)We recently had the issue of trying to sell a piece of land in Framlingham which had full planning permission but was curtailed with a Unilateral Undertaking with ESCC. Oliver Johnson, a Director of Clarke and Simpson, could not have been more helpful. He navigated us through the intricacies of planning, found a buyer and when our solicitor, Ross Coates, was closed down, he found us a new solicitor who rapidly concluded the sale. Oliver`s handling throughout could not be faulted. His communication skills and support were amazing with immediate e-mail and telephone responses. Without the knowledge and contacts that Clarke and Simpson have, I doubt that we should have sold the land, let alone advertised it. A definite rewarding experience for us. He helped us with all of the paperwork we didn't understand and came to our rented place to go though it all and send it all off for us. This journey has been amazing for us and we couldn't of done any of it without his help. Sorted out mortgage advisor and solicitor for us aswell. I really can't thank him enough for all of his help he has give us on this new start. Many many thanks Ross you are an angel.
